Have been driving Figo Diesel since 2016. Unable to upgrade to any other car now because no car offers the same engine power and fun steering. Hyundai still hasn't corrected their EPS - it feels like a toy when you drive. Eagerly waiting for Ford to launch more cars

I would not recommend the diesel version of eco sport. I bought a BS6 Tdci titanium in last August 2020 and I had powerloss issue and the first two gears and are shaky while shift the first 2 gears. The dealer said that the software will fix the issue but that did not and also Was recommended to change engine oil/filter in just 5000 kms instead of 10,000 kms. The power loss is literally frustrating in the city driving conditions. Now the dealer says that they received a big package from factory to replace and they asked me to leave the vehicle for 4 days to fix the issues. I have asked them to explain about what they gonna do on my vehicle for 4 days…It hurts really if they touch my engine within 8000 miles. The CRM of the company is asking ‘ why you chose diesel sir ..you should have chosen petrol’.
Always get a top of the line variant of a compact/ sub compact suv than buying a base or below mid Variant of a mid size sedan or mid size suv. Coz you'll get better safety feature more goodies to play with in the same amount of money. The only problem will be space
One Creta driver messed with me by trying to dangerously overtake me. Later I turned on my beast mode and thought lets race. He only able to beat me after long time when I had to almost stop in traffic. I again beat him immediately at 130 kmph. New Creta is crap considering its price and build quality, old one atleast has descent power delivery.

Considering both 1.5 Diesal as far as price comparision is concern Ecosport is 35% cheaper than Creata. Hence I would definitely select VFM Titanium Ecosport with Sunroof, ESP, TCS, EBA & HHA. Apart all the above it's very well built car.
Every comment says ecosport, but in sales creta is 10 times more than eco. Not sure to tell which is best. I own ecosport diesel which really gives a smile in driving and handling. It makes to forget it's negatives like less space and stiff suspension..

I am using ecosport diesel present generation model and want to upgrade to automatic. Which car to choose between creta diesel automatic and TRoc petrol automatic (i drive about 1500-1800 kms per month completely in Hyderabad city)
Creta is good in terms of the wide reach of Hyundai's after sales support and it also edges the on the features list but if I remember correctly, this car is built on the same platform as the seltos and the seltos *barely* managed to get 3 stars, still a 2 star car AFAIC, so the ecosport is still way WAY safer and better built. It's also worth noting that for 2 odd million rupees, you get a 1.5 diesel engine with about 113hp/250 nm figures, which is not really that much greater than the ecosport considering the price difference. Overall, I'd pick the ecosport anyday.
Although I have a Ecosport but frankly speaking it's for car enthusiasts and not at for family tours. Creta has more powerful & refined engine and it's more comfortable to drive with a softer suspension. Yes, definitely your neighbour would get envy with a Creta. Although Ford had that envious feeling until it exit India 👍
No doubt owners have very good opinion about Ecosport's handling characterstics. But the truth is Ford has not changed the looks for the last eight years or so!! It's not a very wise decision to spend more than ten lakh on such an old design especially when you have so many options to choose from. Moreover recent rumours of Ford wrapping up their business in India is also scary.
