Ahsan is a monster.......he is complete package, not many backcourt player nowdays have "intiligence" like him, not only hard smash, but above all is his creativity and racket skill is superb to create "quality shot" from the back range..if i can choose,,i choose Hendra got injury rather than Ahsan..of course i want all players healty..but for me personally, Ahsan can cover Hendra`s duty at the front, and the other side, Hendra cannot cover ahsan in term of "power" from back.....Congrats LEGEND..

In my opinion, the Chinese pair was over confident, they predicted would easily won the match when they knew Ahsan is having severe injury on his right leg since the QF match against Inoue/Kaneko.... surprisingly, Ahsan/Setiawan won the first game and it's shocked the Chinese pair in the 2nd game they played underperformed and losing their concentration and can't play their game at the very best.... IDK if my observation was wrong or not.... it's just an opionon thooo :)

Li Junhui is playing like an amateur club player these days. He needs to quit badminton. He's been playing terribly in all the matches and making China lose. His only skill used to be smashing, even that is not winning rallies anymore. Liu Yuchen is a great player and he needs a partner like Zheng Siwei or Wang Yilyu.
Right, I'm sure an amateur club player could definitely make it to the semifinals of a super 1000 tournament. He might be worse than Yuchen, but losing to the current world champions, ranked number 2 in the world doesn't mean that he sucks. Also, pairing Yuchen with either Zheng or Wang would make the doubles team comprised of 2 front court players because almost always the guy in XD is front in MD (zhang nan, yuta watanabe, lee yong dae, takuro hoki, even kevin sanjaya once). Even if we ignore the front/back court player formula, Zheng and Wang have played MD together before with... less than fantastic results which means they wouldn't magically solve your problem.

I am a big fan of Liu Yuchen and have been watching all his matches. If the pair loses a match, it's never been because of Liu in the recent times. If Liu makes 5 mistakes, Li makes 3 times more. You watch all their rallies, then you'd know that only Liu plays 75% of the shots, because Li can't defend as good as Liu. Li is the worst front court player there could be in the top 25 pairs. All he knows is to lift the shuttle while in front. He becomes so nervous these days and starts making mistakes and at one point Liu tries to overcompensate for his partner's mistakes and he starts making errors also. Li used to be a confident player, but now he has lost all his confidence. Li is one player that uses forehand defence for most shots and he'd end up playing into opponent front court player's hand. The reason why I called him an amateur club player is that international players are so good and could get themselves out of sticky situations in rallies, but of late, I've never seen Li do that.
