6.5 million for where a horse used to live
You can keep 400 horse power there now!
It’s a big horse
😂
... where a horse used to live FOR FREE
Lol 😂
Leasehold, because it still belongs to the horse. 🫏
"Porshe 911 garage" is a great way of saying "tiny garage that most cars won't fit in" lmao
*Porsche
VW bug might fit
i love how she causally stands an the terrace rail wistfully gazing into back windows of the townhouses
‘Since 1960, Mews houses have gone up over 500% in value’. Well, math isn’t their strong suit. That would mean this house would have been £1.3 million in 1960. LOL. You could have bought the whole street with change left over for £1.3 . The average house price was £2,700 in 1963, vs £280,000 today. That’s a 10,000% increase for average UK house prices.
We get conned everyday in England and you can't even fit a modern car in the garage
You can if you buy a small one
6.5 million to be overlooked by so many windows and neighbours at the back.
£6.5mn to own the old servants quarters is probably not a selling point
shes showing you that its a good investment
Location location location
somehow I don't think a dumb waiter was an original part of a mews house considering the horses lived on the ground floor
I know! If this was original, it would have been used for coal, not food. Kids nowadays!
Since the sixties, it would be more like 50000% (And much more given it costs over 6 million today) and not 500%. A house like that in the sixties cost less than 10k.
Yeah, she doesn't appear to be the brightest.
Yeah, 500 times is more likely
Yes I thought that, I was expecting her to say much more than 500%, in fact I think it’s closer to 30,000%
Cold wet day you walk straight into the kitchen then take your tea up stairs to eat 😂 not thought out for 6 million
I have to say Summer looked absolutely stunning but why is she talking differently? There is nothing wrong with how she talks naturally!
Sounds like a fake posh accent
@@ifeyhome agree prefer the old way she speaks
She's trying to be posh, but she's not.
@@ifeyhomeSpot on.
She sounds like an international student from China trying to imitate an English accent
Great use of space inside the house, especially the staircase.
Amazing thing about London is everything is so classic, posh around you in the high street and yet these home are modern, warm and inviting.
Every detail, stunning! I think the basement is my favorite.
Very well presented by these two, nailed it. Love the history. Nice place... 6.5 - ridiculous. But such is life.
Absolutely beautiful home. This house has Australian styling , especially with the media room and speakers throughout the home. Also 10/10 for the staging so understated yet perfect.
It's lovely to see you two in London again. Summer looks absolutely spot on, gorgeous
Are you saying in 1960, 60+ years this cost 1.3M? no way in hell!!
I've always loved mews houses ever since I heard one described in a Harlequin novel I read in my pre-teen years 😂
Stunning another WOW home!
not been with your channel that long but love how you detail the properties......as for this Mew House it's something else styled for modern living but not too big to maintain
Mews, not mew.
I literally built a new-build ultra-modern property after taking constant inspiration and coming back to your videos - keep at it guys
this place is nicer than many others. Besides it has off-street parking which is invaluable!!!
Back in the 60s you could pick one of those up for about 50K. How things have become so inflated!
soo nice to see both this channel and matt & summer grow more and more each upload, what a beautiful growth. this video was shot so nicely, summer looks gorgggge and this house is beauutttt!
Thankyou Minah! 🤍 -Summer
They "grow"? 😂
Beautiful and functional home, I'm so impressed!
It is extremely well done. However, for £6.5M I would expect nothing less. Londoners are so easily impressed, I do not think an outside terrace overlooking the neighbours back yards is attractive no matter how much it is hyped-up.
Exactly. Being an American, it is HARD for me to imagine any home being worth $6.5 million that doesn't have even a quarter acre of land or more than one room per floor (mostly.)
I know English homes are built "up" instead of "out" like American homes, but the idea of going down four flights to get a midnight snack or a glass of water is nightmarish.
Or entertaining guests in the living room and having to run up and down a flight to finish dinner or get dessert for everyone.
No wonder the English are in better shape than the average American. Lol.
It's the size of my house in South Yorkshire that cost me £220,000 😅
Perhaps my ideal home 😊 I would gladly house-sit anytime. Excellent presentation, guys.
Great presentation, beautiful house .... Thank you for amazing content always love from South Africa
I'd definitely live there I want to move back home so much
Beautiful home. The space is used well. Also enjoyed the history of the area.
Amaizing ❤would love to live there
Congrats om 400k subs ❤🎉
Nice, but my priority is a view... and I'd have to keep the shades down on most windows here
This is a dream that must come true
This place been on the market for almost 8 years so far.
because its terrible
Beautiful home but what impressed me most was the flow of the video. It has improved a lot. Kudos to the cameraman and the editing team!
I enjoyed watching the Video 😊
That terrace definitely needs some privacy.
Yahoo finally London)
Nice house🙂
Love the minimalist style ID
Amazing interiors
Really like that, garage looks really thin to get a car in unless its just the camera angle.
So comfortable feeling . ❤
Beautiful house
missed Summer doing the tours, you're both so good at it guys!! and i absolutely love the designs of the rooms here, they're so pinteresty😍
Thankyou so much 🥰
Funny! You can fit a Morris Mini or 200 cases of beer in this garage!
Thanks for the heads up
love these shots 😍
All small independent shops should take note of copying how lovely the shops in this neighbourhood are ,many shops are of similar age and design originally yet have become very different and sadly not for the better in other areas.
I'd have this as my London home when I stay over for the night life but live in the last house that Damen reviewed in the last tour.
I wouldn't pay £6.5m for a property like that even if it was right in front of Buckingham palace. Also, it should be mandatory to take your shoes off at the door when you're in someone else's house, especially one that immaculate.
That staircase hand rail is going to get covered in finger prints
Love it
lovely house
Beautiful interior! The downsides with mews properties in London - they don't have gardens and are overlooked. And you don't get nice views
Love Mews homes ❤
Great presentation, only thing I missed was a laundry room …?? I presume there’s a cupboard somewhere that has a washing machine and dryer ???
I thought the same thing. They must be in the kitchen? Seems to often be the case with UK homes. But for this money I'd rather lose one of the bathrooms for a proper laundry.
Fabulous house shown by you guys to its full potential.
Thankyou!
I would not pay 140 K
This would be a lovely bolt hole in central London to compliment the country house in Hampshire
I love all the history and meanings you give
Lol 😂 , 6ml for a house like that !! Mad
One of the better homes shown sans nooks n crannies n ghastly ID. Less is indeed more!!
Master bedroom was pretty nice but feels like all your neighbours can see you 😂
I love it. And would love to live in that location. I would sleep in the basement I think. So cosy.
Love the mews but you are heavily overlooked from other houses ❤
This is the most beautiful interior I've ever seen 💜
you've seen nothing 🤣 oh wait BOT
I would love it
The house is amazing by the way
I don’t think you would have had a dumb waiter in a mews (stable) house.
Amazing🎉
8 years ago, maybe.
Now?
1.5, maybe 2 million, tops.
That market is seconds away from bursting, and you’re gonna have a lot of people WAY upside down on their properties!
LOVE🎉
perfect garage for a vespa, would have been easier to not name a specific thing you can store in there 👍
Handrails in the staircase would be nice.
500%? Something wrong with those numbers. That would suggest is cost over £1m in the 60s…not right. 500% is also only about 3% per year. Maybe 5000%??
Its a great video and a nice house (if youre a fan of new builds) BUT no house is worth this much.
I know it might not be overpriced comparatively but the prices now are stupidly greedy.
It's all about location, lovely mews property or you could have a massive mansion in the suburbs for 5mill.
Oh my god, beeeeeeeautiful! The house, that’s ok
Perfect
Nice❤
£6,500,000 for living in a staircase with no privacy, not a good deal.
Beautiful house and garage I would use as a mini gym and I’d install a sauna in there. But it’s bloody leasehold albeit it has a 999 year lease.
Absolute stunner. But I would never imagine it being worth $6.5 million.
Lovely house and lovely presentation guys. Just some feedback from me would be not to repeat so much that mews were for horses and servants etc. Not sure asking someone to pay £6.5m for a house and giving that kind of background to it is a strong selling point. While it must be obvious to us here in the UK, it is not actually that common knowledge for international investors / buyers. Focus should remain on the lovely house and the amazing central location! 😁
OMG this is so much like my Terrace house that I just renovated in Islington! I have a similar Lusso tile sink in white. Also have Decton for the work top as well.
1st class presentation, Matt and Summer.
Thankyou :)
What’s happened to Summer’s accent/voice?!
@@ElizabethWelch2405 Yes! She's very posh and not giggly anymore. She's just grown up I guess.
It’s a beautiful home, I would love to live there, come on lottery, lovely video you are both amazing presenters xxx
LOVE❤
❤❤❤
OMG...£6.5m and it's a leasehold!😬
Was about to say the same 😮
Had trouble concentrating on the house. Summer lookin spectacular…
Summer has turned sensationally desirable and somewhat elegant too.
It's amazing how gentrification can lift an area into a higher level of desirability and higher worth. The peasants that used to live there, they can FRO.
Love this house and the location is fab but £6.5m is just too much for this. Why would you spend that sort of money on a house like this when you can get more for your money, in London, probably not too far from here?
This house is stunning and really well designed. The only criticism is that the basement bedroom has no privacy which is a bit odd
Cute house, though I'd like to spend that money elsewhere. However,I was super distracted by how lovely Summer looked in that amazing dress. Very classy.
L O V E you guys!
What’s happened to Summers voice? Presentation style doesn’t have the old charm to it
