I enjoyed this! I also started out in a style I didn't particularly like. Seems like the more involved I get in paper crafting, the more it evolves.

@Aditi G (Can't 'reply' to your comment) I've seen a lot of people decorate their front covers, personally I prefer to keep mine blank. I think it will make it easier to store, and because there's no consistent theme throughout, I can't decorate it in one way specifically. I also like that it looks 'boring' on the outside and then you open it up and it's like BOOM, COLOUR, STUFF, WOO! Haha :) XX

I like the way you smash book! I also have a smash book and I was just wondering if you were going to decorate the cover of your smash book? I added a little tag to the front of my smash book with the date I started it(there's space for my completion date too) but I'm really scared to add anything on the front because I might ruin it... 😬 what about you?

What is the pages like in the pink La Di Dah one?
love all the pages, but my favorites are the stamps and the geocaching pages!

If you put the envelope in water for about 15 mins the stamp floats off the envelope and all you need to do is leave it to dry:) hope that helped a bit!

What is your favorite Smash Book?? I'm just starting to look and there are so many choices. I'm thinking of starting out with a book for my favorite essential oils recipes.

I LOVE that Monopoly page. I like all of it but I really like that one. I'm stuck right now because for me it's easier if the pages were blank because I don't like covering stuff up unless I don't like it. I have to tell myself that I can put anything in it or I get stuck like this and I hate it. I need some inspiration or ideas from anyone. I want to work on it so bad. I did a junk journal and I loved it and just put whatever and didn't have to think about it or anything and I loved the way it turned out so I thought these would be the same and I have all kinds of stuff from the K&Company Smash that goes with the books but I'm still stuck. I am not creative at all and when I see some stuff on here, I think I can't do that, some people are very talented at this but I'm not.
+Niki Reynolds I don't think you need to be 'talented' at smashbooking, you just have to find the process you enjoy. If you prefer not coving things up, then you could try smashbooking in something with blank pages? I see 'smashbooking' as a style of scrapbooking :) I know lots of people who use blank paged books, but 'smash book' in them!
If you still want to try with your smash book's, then I'd suggest looking at each page as a colour scheme, rather than an image. That way you will become less attached to the page and won't feel as bad covering it up. I hope that helps a little! Also the Lah De Dah one has similar pages to the Smash Book, but you can remove them :) X
+MyGreenCow Hey, thanks for the advice and that's kind of what I've been doing is just going with the color scheme and putting stuff that looks good together on the pages. I'm doing better now after watching some tutorials. I just have to tell myself "it's your book so put what you like in it and forget about how it looks or whatever".
I kind of got unstuck and just started smashing and putting stuff I like in that kind of matches with the background, I just kind of go by color schemes. Thanks a bunch. Hey are you the lady that has that big organizer box, kind of like a makeup box with trays? Like a Caboodle? I am trying to find me a organizer bag or box that can fit my bigger stuff in it and with little spots for my tiny stuff cuz all my stuff is mixed up and I have to dig to find stuff and it's aggravating. I need a big one but not too big. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to comment and let me know.
I want one that will at least hold 12x12 scrap book paper, stickers, pens, smash book, glue sticks, tacky glue, glue sticks and glue gun and ATG tape gun, scrapbook accessories, washi tape, ruler, scissors, and all kinds of add on accessories, like Die Cuts, notepads, paper trimmer and more.
How do you record from that position?
