Sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost my login password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
@Tripp Douglas thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Good afternoon gentlemen and ladies. This is Tim from Texas. I used to be from New York. I spent lots of time and Gettysburg in my life. I love the town. I spent a great deal of time in the horse Soldier any money as well. I have bought stuff from them and I have sold stuff to them. It's one of those must see places in Gettysburg. If you buy a piece of History, you are preserving history not only for yourself but for generations to come. Thanks for the good show guys
I love this place because they used to have stuff that belonged to my 4x great grandfather Jacob weikert and what they have is a drum that my ancestor used as a beehive
I’ve spent my whole life in Chester, VA, midway between Richmond and Petersburg. As an avid lover of American history and with where I live, there’s no shortage of it, just wanted to say thank you all for the effort and passion you all put into these videos and preserving these stories. The American Civil War will always be a sore subject to most, but it cannot be forgotten. Outside of my own state’s Civil War sites, I’ve visited Chickamauga, Chattanooga, and Stone Mountain. Planning a long trip next year to show my out of state in-laws Fredericksburg/Chancellelorsville/Spotsylvania on to Winchester/Harpers Ferry then to Antietam and Gettysburg back down to DC and Manassas. Your videos (specially the Harpers Ferry) have been very enlightening, and after watching this video, I’ll have to lock up my wallet when in Gettysburg 😬🤣
The original owner of the relic shop that is now The Horse Soldier was Chet Small, we used to stop at his shop back in the 70s early 80s when it was a red wooden shed in the backyard of his house. Returned to Gettysburg a couple of years ago for the first time in over 20 years and spent a total of at least a few hours in this shop.
I can't believe I missed your store at my last visit. a mistake I won't repeat. saving my money and WILL see you soon. Can't wait to check it out, just incredible . Sending best wishes from NJ
I have bought from and sold to The Horse Soldier in Gettysburg. Very reputable folks. They bought my entire collection of Gettysburg related artillery artifacts back in 1997. Offered a great deal for about 8 projectiles and shells (a couple of them not deactivated,...... had unpunched Borman fuses...I think the policy has changed now.).....but nonetheless..good people.
14:52 I actually managed to get the CDV of General Zook next to the boots supposedly worn by him which you can see at the bottom left. All the other items you see there, including the CDV, are being consigned for someone, and I decided to ask them if they could ask that person if they'd be willing to sell that picture separately, and they did. Great image and a great buy!
Thanks! I live not far from the Little Bighorn and the Fetterman Massacre. In which cavalry was heavily engaged. P.S do you know what battles Captain William Judd Fetterman fought in during the Civil War?
Just saying but I think I found out what battles fetterman was at the battles of perryvile Kentucky Stones River Tennessee Chickamauga Georgia Chattanooga Tennessee and Utoy Creek Georgia
I stopped shopping at this store when one of their employees, an old lady, gave me attitude simply for asking a typical customer question. I decided that they didn't need my money that badly
@Michael Hunt My question was "Can I have a bag for that". I don't think that is a stupid question since she wasn't about to give me one and I had to walk a ways to get back to my car. Perhaps you are a freaking moron...
Good evening Gary a while back I had a visit to Gettysburg which I loved my third time there and I can't wait to get back but anyway I was talking to a gentleman who said he lived in the area and during world war II decided to pick his choice was a German concentration camp for a prison camp is this true please answer me it's making me nuts that they would do that for such a sacred ground
Did i just witness a 20 minute business promotion for a store? Was Battlefield Trust funds used for this? Yet, only spent a seven minute rush job inside the Bottom House and no mention of battle details or the tragic loss of men in the burning barn! Not sure if i should donate to the trust fund, i think I'll just donate straight to the friends of the Battlefield to make sure my dollars get used properly. A little less Gettysburg and a little more every other Battlefield please!
Agree with some of your coments, but I think they did the video in the store because, as Gary said at the beginning of the video, the Horse Soldier helped them with the collection of items that were part of the Lee's Headquarters Museum. And, while it is a private business, it is also a venue for helping to preserve history.
Been to the Horse Soldier and have purchased many an artifact. Never have I been disappointed. Great store and you get to actually hold the stuff!

@Tripp Douglas it did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much you really help me out :D
@Knox Colten no problem :D
I have a US brass, with lead-filled back, belt buckle that I got as a kid in Gettysburg in 1966. It’s a treasure.

At 2:14 “Henry rifle”. Doesnt look like a Henry to me. How about a Winchester Mpdel 1866?
It is

Not a Henry Rifle. That was a Winchester Model 1866.
I love the history of Gettysburg Pennsylvania
Thanks for your enthusiasm, Gary! It makes you a great teacher. These videos are very enjoyable.
can we please have more of the animated battles?
Great shop! enjoyed my visit years ago, made some great purchases. Thanks for this tour!

The rifle behind the glass was not a Henry rifle, it is a 1866 Winchester ( yellow boy)

What a magnificent and profound shop.
I really wish this video was in at least 720p!!
After viewing this, bought a Union Cav spur recovered from the battlefield - nice collection
Gary you need to go across the street to Mr. John’s Gettysburg miniature toy soldier shop.
No Bowie knives ????

Any cartridge pistol guns used during civil war Colt Smith & Wesson??
A must see when you're in Gettysburg.
Great vid. Thank you and enjoyed it.
Henry rifles ? Looked like a 66 Winchester to me , sometimes called the improved Henry.

@@tedbrogan1 The town is a tourist trap and often one encounters tourist trap employee attitude. We've come to expect it there.
Do they have anything related to Sherman..
Oh, I see at 6:08 the bookshelf in the video, got it
I will plan a trip here this summer
Do you have anything. Robert E Lee.
Great job!
I vote we replace the word COVID with Shanghai Shivers, Rice Rabies, or Pinko Pox.
sweet and sour sniffles
If you are ever going to remake a 1930’s Marx Brothers movie, I think that we have found your man in this video.
Groucho Marx.
Did Jim do a book on war games he looks like a guy that did ...Thanks Guys..
Great video, but slow down a little and turn your phone off bro and get on with it, I would love to go there but no chance in that though

Yes it's true. The government has long used federal lands during wartime. This prison (not concentration camp) was on the field of pickett's charge.
You'd be lost if you didn't have your hands to help you talk.
Lol
Some re-enactors refer to him as the Horse Thief 🤣 enjoyed watching 👍
Why is that ?
I miss Garry ' s charismatic and wise smile.
I miss the enjoyment lost in video that includes Gary and his interruptions.
Stay away from me Jim!! Did you really have say that to him? Take it easy, chill brother.
So sad to see this trained separation having an effect on people
My thoughts exactly... What's the world coming to!?!?
But I thought the masks were so effective.....
I think it was a joke lads, chill.
Does the horse soldier store carry books?(I'm doing this while watching the football game on Thanksgiving)
For God sake will you please purchase a decent camera? I can't believe I'm watching video in 360p in 2020.
When it says Store, are all those Artifacts for sale?
Absolutely, bring plenty of money.
Don’t ask someone to exhibit his artifacts and then interrupt him at every opportunity! What an ego!
You move around and flap your arms WAY TOO much. Very distracting and looks disfunctional!

@@wendeln92 I'm not sure what "helping" meant when I heard that introduction.
Ahhh the Covid times in America…..
Where a cloth could stop microscopic particles…😂😂😂😂
Too rushed. Maybe do a series? Made me dizzy! Lol!
Your arms flailing around is very distracting.
It's one of many reasons we like Garry.
Lose the maniac.
Take the mask off!! Good lord!
Lose the mask and I will watch
