Can all my fellow Mexican who are from this area explain just how dangerous it is? So I can have a better understanding of what drugs Charlie may b on
I lived in Tijuana back in 2012 (obviously out of date information but still the same with different criminal organizations) from what I put together there is something called a plaza system where each cartel is fighting over specific plots of land and since tijuana is so close to the border (same with juarez) these are very prized possessions with lots of money to be made resulting in lots of chaos and never ending drug disputes ending in what you see in these videos. Tijuana is surprisingly tame until its not, for example I was taking a night time walk (stupid american decision still acclimating to my enviornment at the time didnt understand that you have to be known in your area before you wont be targeted) got robbed but thankfully only had pocket change on me so the fat teenager just kinda patted me down and went on his way poofing into an alley. A little backstory on juarez is they have some of the highest missing persons in the whole country and its mainly women. Kidnapping/extortions/road side checkpoints are the worst thing about the highway that leads through juarez which has been labeled the highway of death which speaks for itself on how heinous that place can get. Never ending wars between the juarez cartel and sinaloa cartel, gulf cartel and the zetas, the list goes on and on which have semi died down but occasionally happen still and the last bit of basic mexico knowledge i will give you is... here let me put this in caps so people understand.
THE POLICE. ARE NOT. YOUR FRIENDS. ESPECIALLY THE MUNICIPAL POLICE.
Only trust marines and even some of them are unhinged and will beat your hands with hammers and shit during "police interrogations" aka torture sessions (They will also take your money at normal government checkpoints or make something up and say you did this or that crime). Reminded myself to bring that up as well! Torture sessions are common for information in mexico but this prob will not happen to you if you're an american. That seems to only happen to other mexicans. They normally tie your arms above your head and beat you on the chest/back with a big stick or a baseball bat, pipe blah blah blah you get what I'm saying.
They(Police/marines) are the roughest toughest most bad ass most likely bought out by the local cartel in the area so dont get caught with drugs! If you do they take you right to the cartel!
Sorry about the wall of text if you're curious about the cartel madness basics theres plenty of youtube channels out there. OG Shadow is my personal favorite tells it how it is with little to no bs.
@@Notacoolguy1863 thanks for the explanation I will definitely look more into this topic
I'm from Juárez, been living here all my life (40 years), and it honestly depends on where you live, despite Charlie's clickbait titles, he doesn't go to the most dangerous places (more like poorest places) which would be the actual gang-infested neighborhoods like Colonia Aztecas, or try his luck getting to a cartel compound (which he wouldn't be able to get near as there are cartel checkpoints to prevent that).
Anyway, I live in a middle class neighborhood and never seen a drug dealer in my life (except hippie potheads when I was in uni, though pot is now legal since 2021), never had a gun pointed at me nor mugged nor even experienced a cartel shootout, which were for a while common in 2010 which was our most violent year.
It mostly depends on what you do, where you go and at what time, like, if you own an independent business in a neighborhood (as opposed to a mall) you'll most likely get extorted by the cartels, and if you don't pay, well, it's your ass, the police are slow, corrupt and highly incompetent, even with the national guard deployed.
Anyway, if you have any other questions I'd be more than please to answer them to my best knowledge.
Sir amigo he on ecstasy pipes Yo!
It’s nice to know I have fellow border hoppers
We're making it out of the barrios with this one!! 🔥

Thanks for this Charli
Thank you for the video CharlieBo, stay safe.
You bold bro..the cartel traps
haha, too much hollywood movies.
@@granpatriarca3726agreed. Outsiders think that cartel members lurk around everyone stop sign in Mexico. To the average visitor, the cartels will be their least worry when it comes to crime in Mexico. It's street thugs and corrupt cops who overwhelmingly pose the most problems.
We need one from Acapulco!
Juarez and Tijuana are kind of beautiful.
These are tourist areas, you should look up how the slums of Mexico look like, they have tinted roofs and no paved roads, and no water systems, just unlivable conditions, and all because of corruption
@@user-di7vl3ol8rbeen to the jungles that weren't tourist areas and they look nicer than these cities
@@stewart2589 again u didn’t go to the slums, go to neza Mexico there’s nothing beautiful about these place stop sugar coating their struggles that u will never understand, they live this, u don’t
@@stewart2589 the real slums don’t even have paved roads, i know this because I used live there never again, atleast the US has access to water always, Mexico has areas where they only get it from rain
@@user-di7vl3ol8rthese streets hardly looked like tourist areas. Far from it.
I was in Tijuana in 96 after i turned 18. Went to few bars and some shops. Was a very good experience for me. When i turned 21 state side i did not even bother going to a bar, been there did that already lol. I'm sure it all has changed now.
Thank you for your beautiful and interesting videos
Cartels dont care bout tourist bro b careful
Yeah that's why majority of their victims are rivals or the police
You're right. They don't care about tourists. For the most part, they leave them alone. They focus on those who are a threat to their business enterprises.
@@stewart2589mexican innocent people are their victims also.
These hoods remind me of certain sections in Southern California.
Google maps should have given Charlie the camera and let him film every street in the world
Juarez looks nice. No garbage, no people, warm...
This man charlie finna start some Sh*t in Mexico, aww hell lmao
Eita
Shout out to Mexico ❤ from W.V. ✌ 😊
The street lights are quite high.
You must visit Mexico City pal and film the working-class suburbs of Chimalhuacan, Valle de Chalco, Ecatepec and Tultepec.
Im from Portugal, watching your videos feels like we dont live in the same planet , i cant imagine living in a place where i cant go for a walk in the Middle of the night because of fear of being robbed.
Im from germany and i can‘t imagine this too!
Greetings🙋🏻♂️
Go to bairro da jamaica or moura hoods in Portugal , same danger and poverty.

@@Gunmannn. Not everywhere in Germany, but in big cities like Berlin there is a very large proportion of foreigners.
The problem arose with our former chancellor Angela Merkel and there is a lot of unrest among the population in Germany because of this.
Germany is still a safe country, but it has changed and crime has risen in certain parts of the country as a result.
Frustrating to see that people believe that the border cities represent the whole country
I'm in Manta Ecuador. Looks similar, except Manta is by the ocean.
Tijuana is still next to the ocean
anyone know what CharlieBo313 does that he is always drivin' around these neighborhoods?
He probably sells drugs and uses UA-cam as a front.
This not even the bad parts of both cities. Its just the regular cities...
He does not show the "slums"....
For being two of the most dangerous cities in the world, they do not have hoods as horrible as Mexico City, Guadalajara or Ecatepec
You are very wrong🤦🏻
TJ wayyyyy more dangerous
Are these cities still popular with young Americans to avoid the strict US alcohol laws?
Tj yea but only in the tourist areas lol idk about Juarez but the nightlife isnt the same level for sure
Mexico is beautiful not matter what
Partes!
Where battle.
this brother really went to the most dangerous city in the world
philly? Chicago? or Baltimore? lol
@@inTruthbyGracethose cities ain't as dangerous as juarez or tijuana cmon now
@@inTruthbyGracebruh that's Disneyland compared to any city in Mexico
@@Liftingtillidiemost cities are nice but the border cities are bad
Juarez is crazy.
Я думаю, победила Чита.
Who taught these people to drive??🤔
in tijuana everyone drives like theyre on coke
Ah Yes, Tijuana. I have very fond memories there of the time that I barebacked a prostitute while one of the homies was filming. Good times!!
Tijuana está igual de feo que Juárez la misma cochinada
