Can all my fellow Mexican who are from this area explain just how dangerous it is? So I can have a better understanding of what drugs Charlie may b on

I lived in Tijuana back in 2012 (obviously out of date information but still the same with different criminal organizations) from what I put together there is something called a plaza system where each cartel is fighting over specific plots of land and since tijuana is so close to the border (same with juarez) these are very prized possessions with lots of money to be made resulting in lots of chaos and never ending drug disputes ending in what you see in these videos. Tijuana is surprisingly tame until its not, for example I was taking a night time walk (stupid american decision still acclimating to my enviornment at the time didnt understand that you have to be known in your area before you wont be targeted) got robbed but thankfully only had pocket change on me so the fat teenager just kinda patted me down and went on his way poofing into an alley. A little backstory on juarez is they have some of the highest missing persons in the whole country and its mainly women. Kidnapping/extortions/road side checkpoints are the worst thing about the highway that leads through juarez which has been labeled the highway of death which speaks for itself on how heinous that place can get. Never ending wars between the juarez cartel and sinaloa cartel, gulf cartel and the zetas, the list goes on and on which have semi died down but occasionally happen still and the last bit of basic mexico knowledge i will give you is... here let me put this in caps so people understand.
THE POLICE. ARE NOT. YOUR FRIENDS. ESPECIALLY THE MUNICIPAL POLICE.
Only trust marines and even some of them are unhinged and will beat your hands with hammers and shit during "police interrogations" aka torture sessions (They will also take your money at normal government checkpoints or make something up and say you did this or that crime). Reminded myself to bring that up as well! Torture sessions are common for information in mexico but this prob will not happen to you if you're an american. That seems to only happen to other mexicans. They normally tie your arms above your head and beat you on the chest/back with a big stick or a baseball bat, pipe blah blah blah you get what I'm saying.
They(Police/marines) are the roughest toughest most bad ass most likely bought out by the local cartel in the area so dont get caught with drugs! If you do they take you right to the cartel!
Sorry about the wall of text if you're curious about the cartel madness basics theres plenty of youtube channels out there. OG Shadow is my personal favorite tells it how it is with little to no bs.

I'm from Juárez, been living here all my life (40 years), and it honestly depends on where you live, despite Charlie's clickbait titles, he doesn't go to the most dangerous places (more like poorest places) which would be the actual gang-infested neighborhoods like Colonia Aztecas, or try his luck getting to a cartel compound (which he wouldn't be able to get near as there are cartel checkpoints to prevent that).
Anyway, I live in a middle class neighborhood and never seen a drug dealer in my life (except hippie potheads when I was in uni, though pot is now legal since 2021), never had a gun pointed at me nor mugged nor even experienced a cartel shootout, which were for a while common in 2010 which was our most violent year.
It mostly depends on what you do, where you go and at what time, like, if you own an independent business in a neighborhood (as opposed to a mall) you'll most likely get extorted by the cartels, and if you don't pay, well, it's your ass, the police are slow, corrupt and highly incompetent, even with the national guard deployed.
Anyway, if you have any other questions I'd be more than please to answer them to my best knowledge.

The problem arose with our former chancellor Angela Merkel and there is a lot of unrest among the population in Germany because of this.
