I'm so poor and broke that I can't that I can only thumbs up and recommend Semper Fi mechanic. This is my year to grow a business and do what I love doing and hopefully do what I can to help people and gain profit more than what I make stocking produce at a local Walmart. Since the pandemic, I've been displaced from my normal career as an electrician to become a automotive diagnotistician. Thank you again for giving me the courage to move forward but thank you for your service to our country. I am honered to what you did and went through for our country. Our team lead is a war veteran that has been in hell and witnessed his teammates being wiped out and I want to thank him for his service but he is a person that lives on not requiring a thanks for what he did for our country but deserves at least a compliment for doing so. He also served for many years on his local volunteer fire department for years and so he deserves a hero thanks from us for not only serving his country but also serving his community going into burning structures rescuing people. Thanks again for what all you guys do.
Hey Thomas great videos, I was watching your short yesterday and you had one called black cherry koolaid. I live about 45 minutes from Buffalo NY in Port Colbourne, Ontario. I do not drink alcohol and my go to drink is Black Cherry koolaid. I cannot buy that flavour in Canada so when we do a shopping run I always buy a full box of 48 pacs of Black Cherry koolaid powder. I’m right there with you brother
Hey Bro I let the Ads play all the way through all three of them I'm glad they 30 seconds or less... Keep them like that if you can Bro... I think UA-camrs get a little cut when the viewers let the Ads play all the way through and don't skip them ..... Salute Bro !!!
Hey brother! Been watching your content lately and cheering you on from Central Missouri. I'm a 58 year old disabled Army veteran and independent heavy equipment mechanic. I primarily work on aerial equipment, similar to what you'd find at your local United Rentals branch. Not talking down to you here... I've just made all of the mistakes, and suffered the consequences. It makes my heart ache to see hard charging young men, like yourself working their tails off and barely getting by. My impression, after watching a bunch of your stuff is that you are undervaluing your services. If the dealership rates are $175/hour yours needs to be $125 at least. You gotta get at least 30 percent markup on your parts and supplies. You gotta get paid for every minute of diagnostic time, and you need a travel charge. You start the clock when you put the key into the ignition of your service truck, and you clock off when the invoice is written. You gotta have the cash flow to keep your responsibilities to your family and your customers and the public. Keep on grinding! You are going to get where you need to be.
@@semperfimechanic I learned something last year that you may already know. I had a big corporate equipment rental company bugging the sh#t out of me to come into their shop and do all the maintenance, PMs and inspections on their truck fleet. Even though they have a state of the art shop full of technicians, they don't maintain their own semi trucks for liability reasons. I turned them down, because I have my kids raised, the farm is paid for, I hate working on semis and I don't need the constant repetition in my life. That being said, it would be a constant $20K/month gross, for someone who wanted to have 30 or 40 of these trucks under his care.
Just had my alternator replaced right after having coils and spark plugs replaced for a misfire code. Car running good now 130100 miles. I actually found a good new mechanic in the process who did the work on a Sunday which is unheard of out here.
@calenkeels7286 hey boss my wife said she talked to you today. We're out walking the trails now. We leave in the morning, it's been a great stay. You guys keep it nice.
Hey Thomas I just want to say thank you for the videos and the inspiration . Because of dudes like you and Ernest from Roadside rescue. As of July 4th... I will be starting my own mobile mechanic business in Louisville Kentucky.
A good video, I was wondering when he was going to get thev"cfffloor Jack out they set low to the ground LOL good job Thomas you're the man💯🙌 Till next time
Fun fact about that car. I've done two. The evaporator core for the A/C? Yeah, take the dash out just like alot if cars. The extra little birthday present? Gotta take the doors off the car to do the job. The new gen Camaro? Same job? Pull the windshield. There is a shortcut for the Camaro though that involves a sawz all.😮😅
Just found you today. If you were located in central Florida you would be my mech simply by the name of your company. Looks like I have some catching up to do. Semper Fi Brother!
