This is by far the best tutorial video I've seen for the falcon plus and GoPro 10 usage. I've had the gimble for about a week now and didn't know what other UA-camrs meant by "balancing the GoPro" (I'm new to gopros, gimbles, and photography in general. I'm basically a nube with fancy equipment with no prior knowledge of them lol). You're the only one who showed step by step what to do and explained why all that needed to be done. Thank you so much for this video.
Thanks for the details...you convinced me to order one...for my upcoming trip to Cabo. Just ordered it...should be here tomorrow.... probably will refer to this video several more times until I get comfortable with all the features.
I bought a Telsin power pack and keep it in my camera bag. During periods of inactivity, I run a lead from the power pack to the media mod USB C which charges the GoPro battery which eliminates the need to remove the battery.
Just got myself the inkee falcon plus, love it, works great. It can handle the media mod and the light, but the light can touch the gimbal when the grip is on top of the gimbal, so only put on the light when needed.
Hi that’s a great point to bring up….I don’t know of a solution for quick release at this point. What I am doing for now is using the media mod w/ USB C cable for data transfer/charging and just leaving the GoPro attached for now.
Thanks for the video. I just got mine today. I got it balanced fine and it seems to work well, but I feel a vibration as I use it and the microphone on my mediamod is picking up the motor sound with the vibration. I tried the calibration with the app, but it still does it. Also, I get the green light, but it doesn't connect to the camera yet.
Great question. Inkee advertises Timelapse mode but that’s more of a stationary tripod function …Unfortunately, within the latest firmware and the Falcon app I do not see where we have motion Timelapse available at this point. Would love to see that feature as well. Thanks for tuning in!
MY experiences with ruberish material as a grip are over time disappointing. In all cases the silicone material will get sticky. So I'm happy to hear that this gimbal does not have such material!
Im a bit disappointed with mine. i bought it over the hohem as it could carry the media mod but tbh it struggles with it a bit. with the light on i couldnt get it to balance completely in all planes. with the media mod in only the top cold shoe is accessible and when you attach the gopro light it hits the gimbal when you point the handle towards the floor to get the low shot. One of the uses i wanted it for was filming skateboarding,i wanted to get some smooth low follow shots having the gimbal on the selfie stick supplied in the kit. Because of the gopros poor low light abilities i thought media mod, light no hypersmooth on the gimbal attached to the mini selfie stick was a good move but it doesnt work well at all and to get the low foot height shot you have to do it without the light or without the stick and hold it vertically with the butt on the floor which is soooooo hard while skating. Also using the gimbal skating it is very poor for filming yourself in selfie mode if you wish to get the board in aswell. i will use it for other things but for this purpose the gopro on a selfie no gimbal works way better.
@@johnd9357 yeh unfortunately 😕 it is what it is i guess I'm going to use a different cage that holds the light and live without the mic for skateboarding stuff I think

Great question…I believe there would be no problems with those attachments as long as you have the setup pre-balanced properly. I have run a Ulanzi VL 49 RGB and a Rode Videomicro with plenty of gimbal motor, just fine. Thanks for tuning in!
Great video! I have a few questions about the Inkee Falcon Plus. As I am watching through UA-cam about some reviews regarding the Falcon Plus, they’ve mentioned that the gimbal can lift at least 200g of action camera. I am worrying about buying one because I am using a Gopro hero 9 + Ulanzi Case + Gopro Microphone Adapter, having a total weight of 210g. While the others are using Media Mod + other accessories. Can the Inkee Falcon plus lift a 210g go pro (including the said accessories) without having any complications?
Thanks for your question… The manual states 200g as it’s “product load” spec, hard for me to override that so I can’t recommend anything beyond their spec as it may void the warranty. That said, if your shooting mostly upright, conventional panning footage with a properly balanced/calibrated setup, the motors seem very confident and strong so it should hold up acceptably within a 10 gram weight tolerance over time but purely speculation….Regardless, I really appreciate you tuning in!

Media mod is definitely optional, you can absolutely run a GoPro by itself. This gimbal is fully adjustable/expandable to accommodate the larger form factor only if needed.
Hi, thanks for tuning in! To reverse charge with a compatible usb c cable, plug in both devices, then press the Falcon Plus power button 5 times consecutively which will put it into reverse charge mode.
Thanks for your question. While the media mod has pass thru power via usb c, you can indeed power the GoPro with the Falcon or any other power source minus the battery however the position of the port the mm makes it very awkward and would block the range of motion and impair the balance of the Falcon plus imo. Dont bother with this inkee falcon plus gimbal. Its so shakey the images are useless. Youll have to switch hypersmooth back on to get a useable. So if you wanted to use the anamorphic lens this gimbal is pointless. Wasted my money. The crane M3 is perfect for the hero 9/10 and anamorphic lens and ND filters
what is the screw size for the tripod underneath ? is this standard screw which would work with a goPro screw Mount to make the gimbal wearable ?
The mounting screw is the same as the default GoPro one. M5 bolt x 0.8 (10-32 screw) I believe.
