You are correct.. Casio look amazing

Photovoltaic cell will Not run forever. Watch must have Rechargeable battery inside. Otherwise will Not run at night. The same as recherable battery in our phones. You will Have to replace with new in approx. 10 years. Mayby more than 10. And that cost over 10x more than regular lithium battery. Not 10x but over 10x more. Regular lithium cell lasts 8-10 years anyway. Thta's why I don't want photovoltaic cell watch. And I don't undertand What Good it makes ?

I like it very much and it would be a perfect fit to my Promasters in my collection and for my 7,8 inch (ca. 19,5 cm) wrist (this month i bought that amazing Promaster Diver Unite with Blue and i'm saving on a Fujitsubo, so it has to wait). And i like that you switched to grams for us »overseas« (aka »the rest of the world«) :-)

Just picked this guitar up a few weeks ago, i sanded the headstock down, printed off a Tele headstock template, and sanded the headstock down to more of a Tele shape. Changed those hideous tuners, and this guitar is now a KILLER instrument

Was considering the 2100 1AER with the reversed LCD (which I wasn't that keen on) Stumbled on this video and this model has a great normal LCD and it's solar powered and bluetooth! I have this one and the Duro. I love them both, but I like this one a bit better. Solar powered, and the lume does last longer and is brighter on this one than the Duro. I also put a metal Casio band on this version, and swapped bands on my Duro to a nice silicone with white stitching. But this is my everyday. Casio just rocks. You can't go wrong either way. Idc if the bezel doesn't move on this model. I don't use bezels, and I'm no diver, but I do love Diver watches. ALSO... The date is MUCH easier to read on this one compared to the Duro...

Could you take the face and movement from the MTP-S110 Solar and put it into the case of the Duro MDV106-1AV?

Does it have military/24 hr time display or only 12 hr time display ? Also is it normal solar or tough solar ?

I've got 3 of these, and I love them...very vintage tele sound. But the sunburst model I have has a much thinner neck than the green one, and its about 2 pounds heavier, with a very substantial feel. I grabbed 3 cause the price dropped to $139 for about an hour on Amazon. Glad I did, the price went back up to $170 on the burst and back up to $199 on the other colors. Thanks for this review!

It's the best one that is still available, but I wish they would update it with a countdown timer like the old DBC-150 had.

A well thought out, informative review. I purchased one recently and balked at the price of the case. I found a tradition looking pvc ammo box that fits it and the accessories perfectly, for under $9.00.

I have the same one, use it when doing sports, cycling and traveling, because world time and can swap the display by traveling. Solar makes a Toyota of this watch. Also love the new Models , Save the earth

The box is Made in Japan, but on the back of the watch is says "Cased in China", is it legal?

I absolutely love how this watch looks. I won't mention the incredible hi beat movement since it's already been aptly described by other viewers so I'll simply note the aesthetics. I can't help but see a 007 James Bond motif. The dial is hypnotic, has a gun metal finish and (almost) looks like the inside of a gun barrel. And a really cool design detail is that the infinity logo on the second hand offset appears directly above the "Precisionist" line at 6 o'clock on every sweep. Also from the right angle, the hour hand resembles an elongated tuning fork. The date with white background is also perfectly proportioned with clear black print contrast. Lastly, the 22m lug to lug gives the casing a wide stance that looks stately and classic. At sub $200 USD on Amazon, I don't have to worry about damaging it and can wear daily.

TBH ive the CA-53 DBC32-1A and DBC-611 & love em all but tend to wear the DBC-32 the most due to its legability bigger LCD display..Although my fav is the DBC-611 ...CA-53 is just iconic must have ....Great review..

Also, for people looking at the Indiana Jones watch, a much better deal is the Frank Sinatra My Way watch from Bulova. Similar size with a small second hand also quartz but a deployment class hire Crystal and Cass skin leather strap for about half the cost.

Considering that Indiana Jones is also a veteran of World War I and World War II, I think the Hamilton khaki field would be a perfect choice for him as not only is a period accurate, those things are designed for you to beat the ever living crap out of

I've been considering (as I don't have 10k to drop on the original) one of several NTTD homages. Currently the Watchdives WD007 is the front runner and about $50-100 cheaper than the Heimdallr depending on which route you take to purchase. The WD is closer in appearance to the original which might give some pause for thought whereas the Heimdallr has that in its favour if your prefer something less of a direct copy. Well balanced review of the watch, enjoyed listening to your opinion.

I finally found the upgrade to my F91W. Storing passwords when traveling overseas. Currency exchange function. Dual time. That is all folks. I was previously looking for thermometer/compass, but protreks and gshocks are huge. Stepcounter is cool function, but you could just buy a very simple podometer. The data capacity on this watch, I suddenly find, make this model extremely unique.
