I love this cover! You absolutely nailed it the tone and vibe of the song!
Pretty good. For the main riff you should try F# and then slide from open strings into C . You can see him do it live. I think the riff initially was supposed to be a slide from F# to C, but it's not easy to do live and so Kurt adapted it kinda..

I don't know why but apparently it's impossible to play the intro to this song... Everyone plays it differently, me included.
It is because people play the song guided by the tablatures, some are good but it is better to listen to how Kurt played the intro and practice listening to the song so it is better to get the songs of your favorite artists and not only by tablatures, it is very important listen to them
But Kurt had different ways of playing the solo, so there's no exact way to play it.
Hence you should practice ear training and not reading tablature training. Just listen carefully- everything is in there.

Thank you for the kind words! The first thing I would try troubleshooting are your cables, Both instrument and patch cables. 1 bad cable in your chain can create buzzing

I watched a video on the ds1 and it said that the reason my boss ds1 sounds so weird is because the amp is not really made for the pedal. he said it doesnt really work on clean amps as well? I have a frontman 10g mini amp thats sounds fine. would that be a good amo for the ds1?
@@charlieyeag8626 I respectfully disagree with that. The DS2 is temperamental when it comes to amps, mine sounded awful through my Marshall but it sounds great through my Twin which is very clean. From my experience I’d say it sounds great on super clean amps, my Twin is much cleaner than my Marshall.
I’ve never tried a Frontman, so I can’t speak to those sorry.

Bet he blew out his ears recording it. That twin is loud as fuck, just like Kurt liked it. I heard Kurt played out of an Orange PA before they made amps, cause he liked loud shit. Great cover my guy.

You did a really good job, I am not bashing but for the sake of feedback the tone is not spot on- on the recording he had more delay or something that gave it almost a "surfer" guitar sound. I think it was a little duller too but that may just be the mix. Good job though--you played it really well

Great, great tone. Guitar sounds fantastic. But. The cut you used is a studio version (from the B-side of Lithium? Incesticide?) …and no studio version of Aneurysm compares to the Del Mar version, Or any live version for that matter. The backing track should have been from a live version

@@dangallo4397 a backing track with no guitar and the drums, bass and vocals are all balanced and mixed well enough to where I can mix my own guitar track into it. I looked for a long time, what I played along to in this video is the highest quality backing track for this song that’s currently out there
