BIO 327 2019 showing the breakdown of the pathway of the reproductive system (ovaries-fallopian tube- uterus) was a helpful visual aid because within each part came it's own process to be broken down. Thank you for another visual aid!
This video was very helpful in understanding the pathway. I especially liked how you explained where the egg is produced, stored, and released within the different parts of the pathway.
Short, sweet and straight to the point. The arrows used for the concepts from internal to external and a concise explanation for each was very helpful.
This video was helpful in better understanding the female reproductive system, it was easier to follow the video than the presentation slides. The flowchart you used was also a nice visual that helped summarize the components and key points of the female reproductive system. The colored markers were also a nice choice since they were bright and easy to see.
Instruction was easy to follow, an extension of the classroom presentation, but broke it down so the very basics, I can always return to this video when reviewing for exams. I’m looking forward to the next one.
A good overview of the pathway of the female reproductive system. Chapter 18 was the last one before the final. This was helpful. The acronyms are always helpful.
We haven't gone over this is class yet but this video really helped me to get an understanding of how the female reporductive system works and the pathway of it! I like how you talked about the different components of each part and their main functions!
I like how uou provide definitions for pretty much everything you explain. I often find that in shorter videos it's hard to make it informative and comprehensive, but you really were able to encompass exactly what students need.
MEDA 55: MELIINA CHENG I work for a nonprofit right now that sees a large woman population. I am passionate about woman's health and knowing how the reproductive system of a woman definitely helps and it is so interesting! Growing up, my grandma always said that one of the hardest thing about being a woman is getting pregnant and carrying your baby for 9-10 months! It is of course, also extremely beautiful that a female body is able to do that. I liked the acronym for the fallopian tubes. I also did not know that the Uterus have 3 layers. It's interesting how in middle school or conversations with our parents we are taught that the sperm meets the egg and then you get pregnant but your video goes into more detail! Fertilization happens in the fallopian tubes and implantation happens in the uterus. Thanks for sharing this information! So cool!
Today I learned something new. I did not know the uterus had 3 layers. I like how you explained endometriosis. I finished a k-drama where they put a spotlight on endometriosis. Hypebae made a blog sharing information on the subject as well back in March. Another thing I learned from this video was fertilization takes place in the Fallopian tube, and implantation happens in the uterus.
Trish Guajardo MEDA 115 Fall 2021. This is great to see especially after having 2 children. I can tell you my myometrium is not the same after a C-section. This flow chart is great. I think we always hear that the uterus is where all the action happens but the Fallopian tube is where fertilization takes place is a detail left out in most high school bio classes. Thanks for this info!
This was a great video to visually see the pathway of the female reproductive system. Also, I appreciate you telling us how we can remember the structures of the Fallopian tube.
Thank you for making it easy to understand the female reproductive system, I like how it’s very straight to the point and easy to understand because of the visuals
Really liked the quick overview of the pathway. Being able to recall on this flowchart really helps put things and processes together when trying to remember their order
The flow chart showing from where the pathway starts, helps my understanding of the reproduction system. Each step is important and I like how you went over each one.
For some reason I don't know if I remember learning or hearing "FIAI" from learning the female reproductive system the first time. This is a great review video for me and I learned something new.
I like the use of the flow chart. Personally, I find it really easy to remember the material when it's in a flow chart because of its simplification. This was a great overview video.
I watched this video for the pre-study purpose because we are going to learn it in a few days. I did not spend so many hours on reading the text book. I only watched this video and it pretty covered the whole useful concept.
The female reproductive system can be a complex system for people to understand, but you broke it down so clearly. Also, your explanation of endometriosis is especially helpful. Side note: Your videos make me a bit nostalgic! At HTHI, the classroom walls along the hallway were all windows so we used to write on them (mostly solving calculus problems) with Expo markers all the time!
Hi Professor Givon! It was helpful for me when you used an acronym for the four different structures from the Fallopian tubes, F.I.A.I. It is always beneficial for me when there are easier ways to learn new things. Thank you! (BIOL 327, Section 03)
This video will be very helpful for our final exam I bet. I honestly didn’t know that there were different sections of the Fallopian tubes, so that acronym will come in handy!
There’s so much to learn about the female reproduction system, and this was a great overview! It touched on basically everything but I am very interested in getting to know more, for example how long the egg can survive and what happens when it’s not fertilized vs. if it is fertilized... I will keep watching and I’m sure there’s another video that will go deeper into the subject - if not it would be a great addition!
Is well displayed, was able to understand at a better pace; able to take notes throughout, watch at my pace stop an look up things as necessary. Information is produced for understanding. Thanks
Great video! It was very clear, which made it easy to understand. I believe there was an error when you named the parts of the Fallopian tube, the A in FIAI should be Ampulla.
great flow chart. extremely helpful when studying this subject. everything is very clearly laid out for us to see. also the little acronym for the fallopian tubes is very helpful
Nice, simple flow chart that describes the release of eggs in the Female reproductive system. It goes well with our "Pathway of the Male Reproductive system" and helps to learn both genders.
Thank you for this video! This video was beneficial for me on reviewing/ studying for the TEAS. The flow chart was nicely done and very organized/neat.
The lighting kind of throws me off/distracts me. Anyway great way to break it down! And of course the visuals are great and the acronym is a great help too
BIO 327 Connecting the key terms of female reproduction with arrows helped me visualize the pathway much clearer. Using questions like "where does fertilization happen?" helps me remember where it takes place, which is the Fallopian Tube.
Illustrating a simple line diagram for the pathway of the female reproductive system helped me applied this information to lab models and actual images from the PowerPoint. Sometimes, diagrams contain too many labels that they become overwhelming to look at, but you keep your diagrams concise and simple.
I think having an actual diagram of the reproductive system organs and plugging in the terms could have helped to envision the pathway a little better.
the acronym you use for the fallopian tube is very helpful in remembering the different parts. This video laid it all out and help a lot.

Very informational and easy to understand. Thanks for going step by step on all parts and their functions.
Your written explanations make it very easy to understand. As a woman I learned a lot about my body!

The visual break down and being able to go back is very helpful.
The "FIAI" acronym made me laugh, but was super helpful!! I liked how you drew out the pathway and explained each aspect of it
This pathway is a long process. So much occurs and it follows a certain order. I found this video to be very helpful and informative
The female reproductive system can be a complex system for people to understand, but you broke it down so clearly. Also, your explanation of endometriosis is especially helpful.

Easy to follow! Especially since you take time with each section to go in a little deeper in order for us to understand.
The visuals and seeing it written out was very helpful in grasping the material. Thank you.
I like how you ask questions in the beginning so we can quiz ourselves on what we know! Good overview video.
The visuals helped me grasp the material. The acronym is also very helpful!
Great explanation of the structure and function of the female reproductive system. The acroynm makes it better to understand.
This video was super helpful! I liked how I got to pause and rewind to understand each term.
The female reproduction system is so beautifully complex! I liked how you broken down the different layers of the uterus. - MA BIO 327 FALL 2019
The use of arrows is helpful in understanding the pathway and it's interesting when you add in a homeostatic imbalance.
Helpful to understand where fertilization and implantation takes place. Also, the diagram, of the pathway of the reproductive system was useful.
Is well displayed, was able to understand at a better pace; able to take notes throughout, watch at my pace stop an look up things as necessary. Information is produced for understanding. Thanks

So helpful. Thank you. This makes it so much easier to understand.
The flow chart and the acronym were very helpful in this video.
I definitely appreciate visualization along with you explaining each step.
The only thing is that the A is incorrect in the fallopian tubes, it should be ampulla.
Great video! The visual diagram really helped me to understand the pathway
This is a great and clear review before the exam. The FIAI acronym is helpful as well.
great flow chart. extremely helpful when studying this subject. everything is very clearly laid out for us to see. also the little acronym for the fallopian tubes is very helpful
The visual pathway makes this concept simple and easy to follow!
I never knew how did the female reproductive system real worked until know. Excellent video!
Very concise and helpful. A good refresher before the lab practical and final.
Seems so simple but is very complex. Great illustration
great way of explaining the the pathway and the visual really helped too!
great video, the flowchart you drew really helped as well incorporating diseases like endometriosis.
Great video, the female reproductive system sounds complex but you did a great job of breaking it down.
Showing a pathway with arrows rather than writing bullet points keeps it organized and easy to follow
This video really helped simplify the complexity of the female reproductive system!
The lighting kind of throws me off/distracts me. Anyway great way to break it down! And of course the visuals are great and the acronym is a great help too
This video really helped me understand all the aspects of this system for our lab quiz!

how do you write backwards like that? it's interesting to see your visuals!
easy to follow video and I liked that he explained where fertilization and implantation happens.
Details of each structure was very helpful!!
I think I would have liked a drawing, like many of your other videos, of the different structures to help visualize the pathway instead of just arrows
Writing it with the arrows made me follow you a lot better than I did in class!
Loved this video. Thanks 🙏 keep your hard work professor.
so what do women have in place of a prostate
all videos were very helpful for understanding
video gives a clear and concise breakdown of a reproductive system that is beyond complex and capable of so many things
I appreciate the visual presentation of the pathway of the female reproductive system
