just received the kz zvx 2-3 days ago,as my first iem . First of all I am extremely sensitive to treble .The tuning is well balanced , bass is there , not alot Id say(coming from a bass heavy headphone) but definitely alot more than sal zero . The only region Id say is a bit of a trouble for someone like me is the peak at the 8k region (if you can eq it then its fine). The details are amazing and vocals sound very clear and amazing . Im a bit of a newbie in this world but this purchase is definitely very satisfying .
In conclusion? Is it good for bass or not? I am also treble sensitive. Right now using QKZ X HBB. The bass is decent but the terrible treble is still there. Looking for IEMs with tuned down treble are almost none. And I owned 4 IEMs already. Thinking of this one lately. What do?
@@Jakiyyyyy well if u are not too much treble sensitive then the treble is pretty good just very small eqing needed .This iem is very detailed for the price Id say the foam tips arent good so if u can buy silicone tips .For the price Id say u can get the salnotes zero if u want clearest sound and dont mind low bass , zvx if u want salnotes but abit boosted in the bass region and dont mind a small con of having 8k peak . One thing I dont know about is that when I connect this to my phone's headphone jack the output is considerably low compared to my laptop, do u know something about it ? or it is the cable that is bad ?
@@sagarsaggu6336 Different device gives different audio output. For instance it sound better on my tab than on my phone. There's that. Prolly because it has built in enhancer or something to improve the audio quality. So it's harder to compare when same IEM sounds differently on variety of devices.
I'm hesitant to buy KZ again after I lost money on the ZS10 Pro. It was my first IEM and I thought I was doing something wrong with tips because it had no bass. Come to find out too late that I bought this during their quality control scandal.
Getting a good fit and seal is paramount to getting the proper bass response. KZ stock tips aren't great either. Maybe you have bigger ear canals like me and need larger tips.

I tried a few others too because I learned that what tips fit with one shell won't always work with another. I've built up a small collection of tips for that reason.
I watch lots of movies and listen to all types of songs and i need a theatrical effect so do u prefer this ZVX ? And my other options are eda balanced version and zsn pro x
2 weeks ago I got one of this and the right bud totally lost the bass and all volumen got down. The store where I bought sent me another and I had the same problem. Anybody here got the same problem? Why this can happened?
@@spiritualrebelgaming The Build quality is solid as it's a metal build but it is a bit on the heavier side so take that into consideration. On the flip side the cable leaves much to be desired. It looks and feels cheap. I had older KZ IEM's and the old cables were of better quality. I mostly play Games and listen to some music and if you can achieve proper sound isolation these sound really good.
Very harsh treble and ear piercing highs, unlistenable for power and speed metal I listen to. Returned the the next day. Overall 4/10 for me. Ty for the review.
agreed just got this iem, best budget iem ive used even over the 7hz zero and qkz x hbb, and wahner. It sounds really damn clean. These def feel more premium than others. i got the silver version so the paint doesn't chip xD and they look beautiful. People are saying these are tuned similar to the Aria. and damn. These should cost more around 60-80 dollars i'd say xD
@@thomasmew3288 I would highly suggest picking up the KZ KS10 Pro X too... it's an amazing iem and I constantly switch off from the kvx and it.. it's a bit more but trust me if you like the zvx you will want it. I got several iem's and forget the Moondrop Aria forget the Moondrop Stardust (Ahem..ya get that).. I like the zvx and the ks10 pro X those are my definitive go-to iem's. This preference can vary depending on what exactly im listening too and for how long. The KS10 Pro X is dope af dude... but can I listen to it for 3 hours straight? No it just ever slightly has fatigue.. I can listen to the zvx that long... but for just Bass Punchy blast and super refined sound the KS10 Pro X is what I go to for when I wanna just listen for a couple hours. I have slept all night in the zvx and moondrop starfields. They are very comfortable for that... You cant really sleep in the KS10 Pro X's they are uncomfortable for a side sleeper.
@@thomasmew3288 If you want ultra non-fatiguing smooth listening at night with the most comfort period pick up some starfield 1's... what makes the moondrop sound what it is, is that the treble of voices is not as hot its super chillaxed.. its a different kind of sound what Moondrop has going on. I dont like it for casual fun blastin my iem's.. KZ all the way for that.

I love mine,but the paint comes off very easy . I took the whole paint off and I polished them. Now they look a million bucks.

I'd say zvx for gaming. It has strong imaging and clean mids ( good for footsteps) but still enough body for powerful explosions etc.

Why this can happened?
It can happen from moisture build-up sometimes. Keep them in a dry place for a day or two and see if it helps.

Both are great for gaming. ZVX is more neutral and balanced. ZS10 Pro X has a warmer tone and more bass.
