Now THIS IS A MASTER CHEF! God Bless You and your family. I enjoyed watching you make these dishes. Reminds me of my people in Puerto Rico. They cooked a lot like this too. All natural, straight from the farm. We even harvested our own coffee. Dried in the sun and grounded by hand. My grandfather lived to be 117! NO Alzheimer, knew all of his children. Especially the younger boy, who does not look thrilled at the end (maybe they’re not his favourite dishes? Or he would have preferred to be playing with his friends?).
Persuading children to explore beyond the gender stereotypes of the society they find themselves in can be enormously liberating!
Hopefully this young boy will grow up to be a man who does not expect his wife to provide him with an unequal amount of unpaid labour in the home!
He will know he can, and should do his share!
And, he might grow to enjoy having the skills to feed himself with, and, possibly later, his family.

In western world they say it's child abuse. I grew up on a my grandparents farm in africa and we there nothing I wasn't tought how to do. Living abroad where we originally from, I'm always surprised with the little things that people call the handyman for men and women. You find a man doesn't know how to handle a hummer and a nail Children should be tought how to do things themselves. That is equipping them for the later life and some says it's child abuse
Frying of pumpkins I have discovered it by mistake. Tired of having the same old recipes I said let me try frying and see. That was the waste mistake that I ever made. Now my kids love it better than the way I used to cook it. And this year I was planning to grow more pumpkins and I stumbled upon this video. I like the seeds for that type of pumpkins
