    Reporting Atlantic Tunas General and HMS Charter/Headboat category vessel owners are required to report all bluefin tuna retained or discarded dead within 24 hours of the landing(s) or end of each trip by:
    • Accessing the HMS Permit Shop.
    • Using the HMS Catch Reporting app.
    • Calling 888-872-8862 (Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.).
    The Fish Mapping App is now included with a SiriusXM Marine Fish Mapping subscription at no extra cost and will allow anglers to view offshore fishing features on their phone or tablet to plan their fishing trips before getting to their boats.

    Hearing what is going on to the North with tuna is just demoralizing. 400 boats fishing the white marlin open 3 days. That is 1200 fishing days and only 29 tunas were boated. It is a disgrace from NJ to DE to MD and VA. Worst season in years.

      I don't know if that's the full picture of the tuna fishing there. With 200-pound bigeye on the board, boats were probably more selective with what they brought to the scales. No reason to weigh in a yellowfin when guys are hanging bigeye. - Jimmy
