You do realise all of these models are predictions and are definitly not whats gonna happen like it could start going east or yes west or go category 5 and stay that way or weaken to tropical storm before it reaches half of the state........none of the models are 100% correct but some can be right and you really shouldnt stay if you are more south. I have a park in front of my house and a few people come throughout the day but today, people brought their whole families and kids, their giant toy cars. So many people are out of their house. I don't know if they think the hurricane passed or they just just want to enjoy the windy whether without the sun that we barely get.
I'm particularly concerned about the Miami Zoo. The people who stayed behind, I'm at a loss of words with the decision and I grew up in Phoenix. Do people really believe that staying at a High School gym is safe?? Time will tell.

Put on a bike helmet, boots, or sturdy shoes and a life jacket. Put id, cell phone, drivers liscense, keys, imporant papers in a waterproof plastic bag w/handlers. Get in bathtub. cover with a mattress to avoid flying objects.Keep shoes on!
