I finally got my Kii Three in my studio. They are, indeed, something different. A true pleasure

A question: as these speakers use DSP, what is the total latency it adds to the digital audio path?.......this is an issue with speakers used for production, as you'll want to play instruments live through the speakers with minimal latency.

Dazzer1234567 Latency is going to be near minimal, especially in a >$10K speaker.

      LOW-LATENCY MODE:
      Analog input (A/D - D/A) = 1030us (or 1,03ms)
      Digital input (D/A only) =
      @ 192kHz = 945us (or 0,945ms)
      @ 96kHz = 860us (or 0,860ms)
      @ 48kHz = 1540us (or 1,540ms)
      NORMAL MODE:
      approximately 90ms
No problems with lipsyncing or tracking in Low Latecy mode.
      Hope this helps

Hi, I'm a new owner of the Threes. If I'm reading this correctly, is the DSP optimized for 96kHz sample rate?

Well this mean this speaker are only good for Mix and Mastering. I am a composer an i cant play a piano in real time in NORMAL mode. And i dont want to switch nore disable the dsp since is what these speaker are all about...

Ciao Emanuele - by switching to low latency mode the only thing that changes is phase optimisation in the very low frequency band - so you conclusion is not quite right - we have many studios using it for tracking as well.
