Wow, you sure made that teal carpeting clean in short order with the Electrolux Corporation Silverado Deluxe tank vac & PN5 power nozzle! I'm viewing this on their 40th anniversary debut in 1982. The tank was replaced with an updated model two years later and the pn a year after that. Great demo of vintage Made in the USA quality & performance!
The PN5 was quite an innovation for the Electrolux line at the time. Then came the sidekick. We sold plenty of them for Electrolux in the mid and late 80’s. I own a Aerus Lux Classic today, it’s certainly a different era. But I couldn’t live without it!
You should consider refurbishing that old thing! There should still be some parts still available for them as I have seen them online. You look like you need a new powerhead as well. They can last decades when properly cared for.
Electrolux Corporation's Model 1505 Silverado Deluxe with the model PN5 power nozzle was manufactured from 1982-85. The serial # (2 letters with 5 digits in between) is stamped on the stabilizer. Contact Aerus LLC (formerly Electrolux Corporation until 2000 when the trademark and brand were sold back to AB Electrolux of Sweden) at aerushome.com to see if it can provide the actual year from the serial # (its records only go back so far) and to request an electronic copy of the users manual if you'd like one. Other Electrolux cleaners sold concurrently with the Silverado were the gray Deluxe Special Model 1453 (special lower price due to no automatic shut-off and cord winder was an additional cost), the gray Model B-8 triple brush floor cleaner, the gray single brush Rug Washer attachment, and the commercial canister Model CB. Thanks for posting and many more years of "Electroluxing" to you!
