- Mullah Nasruddin is based on the collection of short stories from Middle East. The protagonist is a satirical character, who resolves the problems of the villagers with his wit and wisdom. Eminent stage, television and film actor Raghubir Yadav plays the role of Mullah, Eminent actor Manohar Singh is the evil and Saurabh Shukla as a spy in the series. Zohra Sehgal the legendry dancer, choreographer and actor is the anchor of the series. The series is directed by eminent theatre director Amal Allana.

Thanks to DD archive for making it possible I was looking for Mulla Nasurudin from quite a long time. I can't forget the acting skills of respected Mr Raguveer yadav .I really feel nostalgic. Again thanks for bringing back my old days...👍👍👍😀
I searched a lot for this serial but could not remember the name hence was forced to give up but today when i was going through Shaurabh shukla's wikipedia, i just noticed it and that's how i landed here....😂😂😂😂
Doordarshan is the channel of common man and since childhood days i love to see this channel its gives us lots of moral values and its reveals the truth.

Mulla nasruddin was an epic series. Never I had missed even one episode. I used to glued in front of our old ONIDA tv. Watched each & every serials between 1985 to 1998. Every Sunday morning & rest of weekdays at evenings.
Such wonderful memories we have of our growing days and much obliged Doordarshan for uploading these classics.

Those days we had nothing yet we felt we had everything and were so happy. These days we have everything yet we feel we have nothing and are missing the purity, simplicity and joy of life. Woh din itne peechey kaise choot gaye??? In a couple of decades how things changed so drastically! Anyway, we are fortunate to have experienced the beautiful old times of DD and its charming stories.
So true!! It feels like life has become empty and a rat-race to run after material things while sacrificing the little joys we used to have growing up in those old days. Everything and everyone is so superficial now a days. Meaningful connections are a rarity and simplicity of living has gone extinct.

Thanks DD for uploading these timeless serials from nineties. I watch them every day. Sometimes sriman Srimati.. sometimes Karamchand..then kirdaar..so many of them. But I wonder if the serials that are now aired on Hindi channels and also DD are worth uploading for NextGen.

We may have a new technology and expensive cameras 🎥 for making a videos but in 80s and 90s the videos were more effective, and real .even visual effects of programming was just awesome it would make you feel a real life
But now totally shit no story line and dialogue aren't effective life before,,they may have a expensive cameras and more technology ,more bloody colours and especially nude girls with big legs (thighs) but still New producers and directors can't even go close to that,,
Cause in old times actors and all other peoples were true with work and honest but now they only have to have money 💰 and fame they don't give a shit about real job even girls doing nude clips having sex in movies and serials just for trp publicity no self respect no honour
