I read amaravathi kathalu book in telugu , during this lockdown period and all stories are excellent... we telugu states people are very thankful to syambenagal who picturaised many amaravathi stories in heartful way... I found very few stories in telugu but more in hindi and very glad to watch these🙏

90s to 00s : still believable
But what has happened in the world in the last 10 years is unsettling and worrisome. These serials were so relatable and believable. Even people back then were emotional , understanding and empathetic. Money was important at that time too but everything else had relevance as well. Today unfortunately it is all about money. Technology has ruined relationships and social media is possibly the most artificial invention of recent times. People don't even shy away from faking emotions just to garner some attention or likes or whatever from their "contacts". It is a saddening state of affairs and what worries me even more is things are only going to become worse here on. God bless us all.
80's : Ramayan, mahabharat, vikram betal, singhasan battisi telecast in eighties. 80s is most classiest decade in the world. Srk debut on TV serial 😅😆😂

Makers and viewers were different what we had back then. Availability of today's content is dangerous for coming generation. What we can expect from 150 DTH channels, many OTT platforms and money making content for targeted audiences. Back then content were meant for Classes(elite class) . Hope I explained well 🙏

Watch repairer was very creative in running his business. Basically a seasoned crook and quarrelsome. End was predictable. He swallowed Rs.1,000 paid as advance by a buyer of his stock of junk clocks. He believed that he was wronged. Excellent acting by Raghuvir Yadav, the Savakaar, Pasha and the fisher woman. Title song stands out.
