Big shout out to Sean for taking the loss so well. It had to be so easy to talk badly about Ben's game, and he never did. It's a great reminder of how to handle a tough match against an opponent that had everything working. Looking forward to the next two matches! Ben is awesome.
This channel should have 5 times as many subs and veiws. I don't understand why you haven't broken through yet. Maybe some more collabs with high profile tennis youtubers, like Winston or Winners Only ect would help.
To beat a player like Ben, you have to be able to sustain the advantage you carve out, being able to chain together several topspin forehand and backhands from various positions on the court, from behind the baseline or inside the court. Most players only focus on rallying from behind the baseline, and rarely train on those situations where you have the upper hand, but you need keep the pressure on or execute a certain shot (lob, drop shot, slice aso). MEP is the gateway to 4.5+
Ben (MEP) has got such a warrior's mentality. Nothing can keep this man down, win or loss. You can tell he loves the sport and is truly where he wants to be when he's on the tennis court.
People really have a hard time understanding that the speed of the game on camera is waaaay different than what you actually feel on the court. As far as the result, it wasn't that unexpected, as there should be a nice uphill battle from a 4.0 facing a 4.5. The great part about tennis is that it doesn't matter where you are at level wise, there are always a lot of things to work on and improve.
Heavier racquets do not always equate to more power, but they do tend to be more stable if you can handle them. I think if MEP is able to handle a heavier racquet, that is a good thing for him. You can still have compact strokes and generate power with your body and by taking the ball early.
MEP is very consistant and has few mishits. It's quality hits all the time. And he's very smart moving the ball around while also moving well to the opponent's shots.
Awesome. Bunch of really great guys.
Loved this. Thank you RT team.

MEP could singlehandedly bring Prince Tennis racquets back to peak prominence. They need to sign him

Yes, Ian vs MEP!

Well said all around.
Would be fun to see MEP against some of the opponents he faced last time. I think he wants revenge now when he has improved

If you just look at the shots without looking at the style, the shots are excellent!

Good sport Sean
Thank you. Good thing is my stock is down so anyone that might play me after watching this could under estimate me.
I'd love to have the opportunity to play MEP! If he is coming through Indiana or if I can jump on the RT court, I'm up for it!
I just have one question, which one of you is playing him next? 😂
Rumor has it Sean has moved on to pickleball.
😂
Haha I should. I honestly can hit better than this believe it or not. There is always disc golf to fall back on too.
@@seanbinder8316 Bro, we have all been there. Many props to you for putting yourself out there.
Thanks man. It's nice to see all my faults so I can improve.
I’d love to play MEP! I am 4-4.5 in Washington DC, in case you’re ever around. We could play at JTCC.
I wanna see MEP play someone with a big shot. His style of pushing only works at a up to a certain level.
I'm always open to suggestions!
Every style of playing "only works at a up to a certain level" btw
The thumbnail is brutal. Grumpy old man on the left looks in shock and Sean looks depressed. 😅
I'm really down. 😆
MEP is not the same player we’re used to.
omg, this is the best. thank you
Grumpy vs mep....
I’m always down to mix it up
Do it!
