I was present at Tokyo Garden Theater on January 9th, together with overseas fans who also won a ticket in the lottery. The concert was amazing with great sound and visuals. I was on row 8 on MISA's side, damn she is a great bass player. I already knew that, but seeing what she does in person was an amazing experience. All the girls did a great job, it was a fantastic concert from start to finish. Band-Maid performed 26 songs, all 8 songs from the latest album Unleash were on the setlist. They performed one new song (Memorable?), and two live debuts with I'll and Balance. We were not supposed to sing and cheer, so at first the crowd of almost 8000 were a bit quiet. Saiki and Miku did a few pep talks about that a few songs in, and off we went singing and cheering. Endless Story was epic with the crowd participating on the sing-along parts oh-oh-oh-oh. The consert started with Unleash!!!!! and Play, and ended with NO GOD and Choose Me. I've already applied the lottery for a ticket at Zepp Shinjuku on July 3rd. If that fails I'll be going to see them at the tour final at Yokohama Arena on November 26th, an arena with a capacity of 17000 people. When Band-Maid announced the tour final the crowd went wild. Band-Maid have great stadium rock songs, it will be an epic performance I'm sure of.
Such an amazing show! I have so much respect for them streaming a live show in real time that's restreamable. No edits. Just RAW BAND-MAID! Can't wait for the Memorable official release!
Memorable was a memorable experience live for sure. Absolutely breathtaking vocals from Saiki. And even when the girls hit off notes here or there, they still kill it. Coming by for Yokohama, right? =)
Totally awesome concert. The only things I would have done, had I been in charge: ;-) Added a couple of room mics for the streaming audience and paned the audience to help place the streaming crowd more into the venue. And made sure Saiki's earpiece and monitor volumes were better adjusted. She was having some trouble. Here performance was great, but not like she usually is. Kanami was have some difficulty, too, but still a superstar. MISA ripped everything to pieces. Miku and Akane were super solid. And I would have made the mask exception at the end... start at the beginning, so the audience screams and singing weren't so muffled. But another stellar performance from the world's best progressive, hard rock group -- Band-Maid. They are all experienced pros who made the adjustments and fought through adversity to total victory. "We have got to Win!" ... and did! Thx, Scott!
Watched live on streaming and have watched it again since. An experience that will stay with me forever. I kept saying that they are no longer a great band but have reached legendary band status for me now. Wonderful concert.
Just got done watching the show was truly awesome loved the MC even though I don't know Japanese _(now I want to learn Japanese)_ they seem so relaxed and talking to the crowd which is incredible on the US tour they catered to their fan talking in English what an amazing band. _A lot of _*_MISA, MISA, MISA_*_ hi-lights with a lot of bass intros_
Been looking for a PJ5 for several years now and landed on a Mike lull PG5, until now. I hope they let us pions have access to a BC Jaguar PJ5 Misa Katana series, Po! Fender's Jaguar currently only offer a PJ4. Btw, I cycled from Ariake Garden to Yokohama Arena today, 1/10/2023, just because, and the site is huge. Also, just released by the official BM Twtr account, not only they are going to Daytona, They are going to Columbus, OH for the Sonic Temple Fest (The Warning will be there: maybe a collab recording?) . It looks like they are making the US festival rounds, Po! 🦍🍌
A bit of a shaky start but they had everything working by Domination. They put on a fantastic show. The set list had some very pleasant surprised in there. 🥰
Yeah, I noticed that. Akane seemed tight and her first time to shine didn't flow like the Shibuya Freedom and Domination fills/solo. That massive crowd I bet had them a little spooked....poor things.
Ya, the non-fiction days has a special place in my heart. It was the song that hooked me for life. It was the song I got to hear when I snuck down to sound check at J-Pop Summit and the high pass filter on the intro just gets me fired up for that first full band hit at the start. LOVE IT!
Unbelievable show, watching made me remember why i have virtually given up on US and European bands, as not many can hold a candle to the maids, Nemophila or, BABYMETAL,,,,,, hoping for a UK 🇬🇧 tour, or at least a couple of London gigs 🤞🍀🤞🍀🤞
Thanks! I'm a guitar player so I'm not familiar with the fine details of bass set ups. At the time I made the video there was conflicting info floating around. CHEERS!
YES! That song was MADE for an arena. This might be a little esoteric/specific but I'd love to hear Band Maid give Chemical Reaction the treatment that Sepultura used to do with Ratamahatta. Instead of a bunch of friends on stage playing the drums, we get 10 or more friends playing that MONSTEROUS main riff.
I’m not blaming the girls. I’m sure if Band-Maid could do Europe, they would. I’m blaming their management, or whoever organises their tour schedule. It seems to me that “World Domination” only includes Japan and USA. I can’t afford to go overseas to see them. I can only hope that they will come to the UK soon.
JUST ANNOUNCED ! SONIC TEMPLE IS A GO!

See you there in May, if you're going! I'll be there Thursday and Friday.

Amazing show! Totally worth the long view price! I've watched it twice after the original live show, love it!

To me, the new song Memorable has just bumped Daydreaming as their most beautiful song ! and I agree that it was overall an AWESOME, KICK-ASS show !

They just announced Sonic Temple in Ohio! They are performing on Friday, May 26, 2023.

If they sell out yokohama I'll be very proud of them. Pretty sure they well.
THAT bass is MISA. I bet this one will be around for a long time.

This seems common to me, they do take a couple of songs to warm up.

They really need to record a US show. With much more relaxed rules, the US will really let the crowd energy shine through in the recording.
Dear God in Heaven....THIS! I'll be traveling to THAT show for sure.
Akane fan "Bananaman" appeared in Peter's video, but did you see MISA's fan "Whiskeyman"?
New bass has jazz pick up in the bridge position precision pick up in the neck position. Excited about the U.S shows hope they play near Memphis
Thanks! I'm a guitar player so I'm not familiar with the fine details of bass set ups. At the time I made the video there was conflicting info floating around. CHEERS!
Yokohama Arena... that´s what they deserve
Chemical reaction should be played at Yokohama! Perfect place.Po.

Were can you buy a ticket to watch the stream?

What a band, but they really need an Australian accent, a long tour down under would take care of that 😜 just sayin, peace and love Po 👍🎼🥁🎸🎤🍻
😁
Any one had the link to buy and see the show?
