How To Measure Insertion Loss Using the Nano VNA

In this video we usa the very low cost Nano VNA (amzn.to/3ISrL9D $49) to measure the loss of a coax cable. Then for fun t the end we attach as many coax adapters as possible and look at the insertion loss.

High quality connectors will give insertion loss in their data sheets.

This experiment has been done countless times . Your loss measurements, especially in the HF bands, are way off. Judging by the way the display was jumping around it is obvious that you have loose connections in one or more of the adapters.
