They're the best vocally in sm. The purcentage of above average and competant vocalists in shinee is far higher than other groups. even the vocal analisys website analysed three of them when they usually never analyse more than half the vocalists in a given group.

I think lip sync for the first week makes sense depending on the song: if you compare how challenging the choreography is to the vocal demand, then yes, sometimes you wanna make sure the first week comes out perfect. But this choreography is not as physically demanding (I'm not downplaying it, i love the choreo, but it's not something that would make the boys would run out of air) and SHINee is stable live, so it doesn't get to the point where you'd need to lip sync
no but the center positions are usually given to taemin and jonghyun, it was just nice to see all of them have a lil spotlight more than once throughout the song!
The one thing I love the most about SHINee is that whenever they perform, they make everything just seem so effortless and that they're all having a good time on stage. Everything doesn't look perfectly rehearsed and executed. I'd say that's what makes them PERFECT. They don't dance and sing to intimidate or threaten other groups. It's just SHINee just being SHINee in their own little world where it's just them performing for their fans and their fans loving & supporting them back.

It can be soft, mild, emotional also it ran aggressively during Lucifer, Sherlock etc. He reaches the level most vocals can only look at it with a zero to 100 push in one second, after some crazily complex dance moves. DAMN

Big Bang are my kings lol. I have a couple of SHINee's older songs (thanks to my Pandora radio), but this is the first time I've really paid attention to them. I gotta say, I was really impressed when I first heard this song. It has the coolest 90's vibe and it's so nostalgic. Based on a whim, I bought their entire "1 of 1" album. No regrets. Well, my only regret is not listening to SHINee sooner.

Big Bang are my kings lol. I have a couple of SHINee's older songs (thanks to my Pandora radio), but this is the first time I've really paid attention to them. I gotta say, I was really impressed when I first heard this song. It has the coolest 90's vibe and it's so nostalgic. Based on a whim, I bought their entire "1 of 1" album. No regrets. Well, my only regret is not listening to SHINee sooner.

What doesn't suit SHINee is doing songs that are simply part of the trend. They love pushing boundaries and being trend setters with both music and style!
