- I finally found a Hector!!! I've been wanting one ever since I saw him at the estate sale where I got my Teddy! I'm so so happy, I love him to death!
As you can see he came in his original box. He had been taken out before but never played with according to the seller, so I unboxed him! I may or may not play the Three Little Kittens tape he came with, I'm not sure yet since it is sealed.

Mine has a lot of crackle in his speaker as well, and his voice is very low like yours. Nice to see it's common over others! Also he's so cute.

Hey. Remember me from our previous conversations? My cousin Jim told me yesterday that out of nowhere my talking mother goose just started worker again. She is at his house in the garage and he went out there not expecting anything but he told me yesterday that she started talking again. HE says her head doesn't move which is totally fine with me, I just like the audio. And this means my 2 year old cousin River will get to experience Mother goose and her stories. I still need more tapes. I only have 8

I love how they have him go quack when mother goose honks. Is that the same Hector as the original ugly duckling cassette?
Yes it’s so cute! Hector doesn’t quack in the original Ugly Duckling tape, just in the Hector tapes. And yes it it the same Hector too!
Man I sure wish my mother goose worked. My cousin River would love her. I wonder if they used a different voice for Hector in the tapes designed for him because the original Hector doesn't sound like he does. And actually he does quack in the Ugly Duckling when he comes out of the egg

@@AnniChu Still looking for someone to fix her. I actually have a real duck named Hector. He is a taxidermy duck (that means he died and they stuffed him)

You know what? I'm actually considering getting Hector once my goose is fixed. But if I can't find one I'll still get the tapes because these sound cute. I'm also hoping to get the lullabies cassette to play for my cousin River who is almost 2.

And that’s actually why I named a little baby duck Hector was because even before I had a mother goose I heard somebody upload the ugly duckling cassette and I liked that version of the story
@@christophercruz5891 Yeah it really is a good version of the story! It’s my personal favorite for sure
I own both Mother Goose and Hector. But I believe my Mother Goose is possibly the best working one. Her tape plays in a normal speed, not too fast and not too slow. And there’s NO scratches or crackles at all, it’s clear and sounds like a Ripped Audio version. And she Fully works with her original equipment, no lip smacking and no stains.

AnniChu I’ll make a demo video when I get fresh batteries on her, I tested her batteries last night and they weren’t so hot.

Can you please make a video of the batteries in the goose? I’m having trouble where they go, a video is best because I am so confused if you don’t mind.
@@collectibleanimatedantiques If you look closely there’s actually a small mark in the plastic with 4 plus and minus’s, it shows which way they go! It’s hard to see and I didn’t notice it at first too but it’s there!

OMG I'm a big fan of Mother Goose. Do you know of anyone who can fix them? mine doesn't work anymore but if you put the tapes in a regular tape deck it works perfect. I have 8 tapes

@@AnniChu I should probably add that I am totally blind. I do not use discord . I have a computer and phone that speak that’s how I know but the UA-cam comments say. All the cassette tapes have braille on them that’s how I know which one is which

I have but it’s not really that accessible. There used to be a website called toysthattalk.com; However that no longer exists. I’ve actually been looking for somebody for the past it will be two years in December to fix the Mother Goose

Hi! Huge update! I got a hector for Christmas and I couldn’t be happier! He is actually bigger than I thought he would be, I also think my one’s neck is broken too which is a shame but it doesn’t matter at all to me. Hope you have a fab day and if your interested on seeing him I’ll try upload a video of him working on my channel! Unfortunately though he was extremely overpriced nearly costing £200 in total including the mass amount of import charges. 😅
