- Here it is, 46 minutes of the new Epcot attraction. Look at the original versions weak spots, then see how it was redesigned and updated via concepts and construction through to opening. Then take a full HD tour of the attraction from outside, through all three queue lines, through designing your car of the future and then a full, multi angle ride with a clean / inducted audio mix. Test track is one of the best thrill rides at epcot and the music for this ride is awesome.
Much of this premise comes from the original Rocket Rods scenario (but never implemented for budget reasons) at Disneyland. Guests would have designed their own cars in the pre-show and then gotten to see their creations overlayed over the Rocket Rods in a reflection (a la the effect in World of Motion) near the end. Tony Baxter described this once at a convention. I'm glad to see the idea was more or less finally used.
This would probably be one of my favorite rides if I ever went there again. I thought the original Test Track was just okay, but now I love how passengers get to participate. And I love all the new scenes.
I can't believe i took this long to watch my favorite Disney Video Guy's...video of my favorite version of Test-(tron) Track ! The music is AMAZING! excellent job-as usual :o)
I like the queue Music at 12:09 its exciting, or its because I was stuck in the fastpass+ line for an hour because the ride broke down :P
I read on Wikipedia that this ride is gonna close down for a refurbishment and retheming which will be inspired by the World of Motion ride so in a way, World of Motion is being brought back.
I can't wait to ride the New Test Track in November 2016!
What are they doing with it in November?

Great video (especially the audio). Epcot confuses me at times. I like the new Test Track (I liked both of them) and I get the idea that they were upgrading the ride from the industrial age to the digital age. But there are other attractions that badly needed and still need attention, such as Journey into Imagination, and the current vacant space of Wonders of Life - casualties of the amount of corporate sponsorship Epcot has lost.
+MrNadast But thats the thing though... Test Track only got remodeled because the sponsorship contract was renewed under Chevrolet. Think about it... If GM let that expire instead of renewing it then Test Track would've been closed as well...

Absolutely. Corporate sponsorship can be great (such as Test Track) until it expires and they choose not to renew (such as pretty much everything else in Future World). My guess would be that Disney would have continued operating Test Track without sponsorship due to its popularity though, just removing the GM branding from everything.
The sponsorship model does seem problematic. A lot of popular attractions like the original Journey Into Imagination are gone. (Horizons, too. Was Horizons still drawing people in?) Walt Disney said, "Give the public what it wants (sic)," yet plenty of popular attractions have ended.
There were definitely some additional changes I would've liked to see to Test Track, but the update was definitely an improvement over what had initially replaced World of Motion. Hopefully future EPCOT refurbs (including the current Imagination one) see even greater success.

Does anyone know where I can find the song from 12:18-16:06 because I can only find the same ones and it's not the right one. None of the other songs can compare to how beautiful this one sounds. The music in the description is the one that I see everywhere and it's not even that good.

If I had a guess it would probably be from the cue.
I know this is late, but best way to do it is transfer this vid into an mp3 file and crop it at that part to make it into a song, if u got spotify, then you can transfer it into your account using local files

this is late but I am going to try to do the better version that starts at 37:35. Its a slightly better quality but it should be fine.
Love this Martin. You have really out did yourself and I loved the World of Motion and the old Test Track as well as you said in the subtitles: "The industrial look was outdated" and you were right. I hated the interior but the ride was fantastic! Thanks for uploading this...it's amazing how EPCOT is changing. Now if only they could sort the Universe of Energy, and Journey Into Imagination out? Hmmmm any ideas?

Although I do agree that TestTrack needed an update, and I do like the digital theme a lot, the ride itself feels too Tron-like and too futuristic. The reason why the original was so interesting is because it was realistic in its portrayal of vehicle testing and felt more raw. I do think the queue and the ability to design your own car is an upgrade, but the ride itself feels dull and cliched. I think a good hybrid between the original and the new one would have been better.
