Me too, I just replaced my Makita worm drive that I used for 20 years (no damage to it) with the 36V rear handle saw. Every bit as good as my worm drive. So' I've gone full line of cordless Makita tools. 36V and 18V, same charger and batteries for both... brilliant!!
Hilti is the best but very expensive, I still using Makita because the can give you amazing quality in a reasonable price. Milwaukee is expensive but not same quality as Hilti. For the price of Makita you can buy 2/3 same product of Hilti... -> I'm going to keep working with Makita.
I've worked with all of those brands over the years. I would rank: 1H, 2Mak, 3Mil, Best ratio quality/price: Makita, Best Batteries: Hilti (couple of months in Van, wintertime , Temp fall till -5Celsius (Europe) still runs), Makita was empty in one week i the same conditions, (storage and use). Milwaukee, visible lost of quality and power compare to old stuff from Wisconsin, sadly
Dear Lachino, many thanks to you. We need your support to do more tests. In fact, we did another one on the batteries lately. After the water test, we put them in a plastic bag for 3 months!! Then we take it out. Only Hilti can be use after such extreme test. I am pretty amaze of the result as well. Come back and see more video from us!
Really enjoyable and interesting video. As a Makita man I was hoping the Makita would really outperform the others, I must say the Hilti was super impressive.
Dear mazzmari, check out my other video ua-cam.com/video/iNGTaXFrFNI/v-deo.html, it's call mini grinder stand. You should be able to find it in amazon or taobao~
What I find about Hilti is there Drill bits, grinding wheels and saw blades are superior to other manufacturers. So in your test did you use the same bits, grinding wheels and sawblades in all the units or each manufactures specific items?
Hey, nice test. Could you do a Makita battery test: 1.5; 3; 4; 5 (Ah) by screwing one type of screw or by drilling holes with one drill bit. So that you can answer how much time you can work on one and how much on the other battery. I am thinking about choosing a 3 or 4 Ah battery and paying extra for a 4Ah battery how much I would gain. If anyone would like to see such a test, please thumb up. Greetings from Poland.
I like milwaukee tools . m18 fuel has 5 years warranty. We burned 2 sawzalls and milwaukee gave me 2 new sawzalls . I m not sure about other countries but here in Minnesota I can bring an broken tool to the service center an get new one or fixed. we doing a lot off work I spend over $ 5k for my milwauker tools but it worth it .
I find milwaukee better and more robust than makita(I dropped makita brand because of failing batteries after 1 year) and Hilti tools are twice the price of the other 2 so yeah put hilti up against similar priced manufacturers!
Holding a Hilti is like holding a brick. I don't care that the battery will die easier on my Makita, it's very lite and after a day of working on ceilings you are grateful for it.
GREAT!!! What i was expected! Hilti is the best but too expenssive, while makita can give you amazing quality in a reasonable price.. As for milwuake, a good quality but also high price.. i am going to keep working with makita..
Great video and test but kinda unfair with different battery voltages. Hilti is on a different class. Rare to see them at a local lumberyard/hardware store. I see it as an commercial industrial tool where the rest are a more suited for the contractor and serious DIYer.
The batteries battle is not fair. I have no idea what area you would like to test? Endurance? Performance? Anyway, performance and endurance are affected by the tool and accessories. Concrete holes drilling test are the worst one. Performance is greatly affected by the drill bit. The factory setting of speed and torque of the hammer drill will have so much impact on the battery life.

Do not forget the new'ish Makita batteries also cut off the juice with quite still some left in them to protect the 18650 lithium cells in them, they also have a easier way in for water cause the super fast RC chargers blowing air to them. Me I think batters last a bit better too if running them in the older "slow chargers" which makes sense in this world and got exact same phenomena for my mobile phone if charging via Oppo quick charge or via slow USB cable (PC), not just once but do so for cycles, perhaps a week straight and difference is obvious. Want lots of time on a smaller drill like the DHP483 a 1850B still give you a very small and handy drill, like a 12v machine running on 18 but Hilti/Milwaukee batt at the bottom would ruin that even more. Point is they are small, but hey all 3 brands are great just different and this replication of wear and tar is not natural at all, you will notice once working with them for years and years and if reaching this stage you simply did it all wrong and need to fess up to that and take better care of your tools, or maybe did not pay for them? Normal wear is natural, this simulation speeding up wear and tear is not. Believe me, or not as you like we see dead Hilti batteries too at the company, question is if swapping for a new for free is worth the extra cost over buying a brand new one and get 2 for 1 depending on where you life of course? Like always we often sew much cheaper hardware in the states, if that goes for Hilti I know not but here they are twice the cost or near enough. Your choice, they are all great but 2x biggest batt do last longer than x1 if taking that into consideration and your stuff last?
Just replaced 6 makita batteries with similar if not worse damage, 3 of them 2 years past warranty. Didn't pay a dime. Also, makita's warranty is 3 years, not 3 months.
Dear Dmitriy, I wish they do the same here is Hong Kong. I should do a video how different brand treat customers in Asia. But 3 years and no cost warranty is king!!!!

You would basically have to be a forensic scientist with an electron microscope and look for fatigue fractures like an FAA plane crash investigator to determine such a thing. In short, think of it this way: Your covered for battery failure for 2 years if your lucky and they don't say that you improperly charged them. It has to go in for diagnosis either way and you get to pay $40 plus for shipping, just for a small drill or driver. If I could do it over again, I would just get a Ryobi for less than half the price, use it until failure and toss it.
Hi, Tools and Stuff, yes, it's not a fair fight as I can only get 22v battery in Hong Kong. I am trying to get as close as possible. Thank you for your message again!
Good point, a 22v CPC have got 12x 18650 in them do they not? Makita using Samsung cells count nominal 3.6v I thing so x5 give 18, so if Hilti 18650 (whatever cell they use) count nominal 3.7v x 6 that would give us 22.2v in series, both have 5 respectively 6 more in parallel but yeah again good point indeed and hence should have some extra juice on board.
Dear Aleksey, because at that moment, we don't have metal cutting circular saw for Milwaukee yet. I would love to give it a try. Actually, makita is light in weight and cheap in price. Not bad of choice also
@@MASTERALLEY Dear Mr "MASTER ALLEY" Milwaukee have battery metal cutting circular saw. It's name M18 FMCS There are a lot of mistakes in the film / comparison The Milwaukee model presented on film is M18 CHX but not M18 FPD (because it is a screwdriver) Similarly with Makita - in description DHP 481 and in reality it is a weaker machine DHR 242 This test seems to be intended for the viewer who does not know the tools and is supposed to think "WOW" about Hilti - it is not objective. Hilti can not be compared in capacity because they use a 20 volt platform compared to the milwaukee and makita 18 volt platform 18v X 5ah = 90wh 20v X 5.2ah = 104wh
MASTER ALLEY since they moved production to Poland none of my batteries have lasted past 8 months. I’ll be buying copy batteries from now on and I won’t be buying HILTI tools again.
All of the tools are good quality. The Hilti came first in testing followed by Makita with Milwaukee in last place. Considering the real world price the Milwaukee gear had the lowest price followed by Makita with Hilti tools costing much more than the other two brands. For home use the Milwaukee tools are the clear winners in every category as long as the batteries are kept out of cement mixers.
Dear PUNCHALOT, the more I test, the more I found good things about different brand. But most importantly is sole agent. We have very minimum support, information from many brand before, people buy tools base on mouth to mouth data. I will try my best to be transparent so that we all have some basic guidelines when spending. Thank you for your message again! Happy Chinese new year! Kung hei fa choi!
MASTER ALLEY just for your information in my area they change the Milwaukee batteries for 3yrs NO QUESTION ASK. Might be different in your country. And metal saw milwaukee makes one. The american version ia the 2782-20 more performant then hilti and makita
Some people really like HILTI, I've always thought they were really uncomfortable to hold for more than a few minutes of hard use. Maybe it's just my tiny hands.
I have to agree on this. After trying Makita, Hitachi, WORX, Devon, I found Hilti is larger for big hands. Smaller handle are less tiring for me especially for long period of work
I use Hilti at work where the company pay for all the tools. And makita and Hitachi at home where I pay for the tools. It's like having three (all beautifull in their own way) wives!
It's very true Hilti is more expensive. It's also very true that Hilti makes better quality tools. They just last longer and are better build. And the best warranty of all. I have both Makita and Hilti. Makita still good. Don't know to much about Milwaukee. Just saying
Good point. Pricing also vary from countries. Nowaday, tools are all very powerful. Really depends on how you like the brand as well as how the handler use the tool.
хилти не законно возвысили и поставили в не равные условия 22 против 18 и всё равно инструмент заслуживает утилизации за неудобства за износостойкость ив качестве сборки и многие другие параметры.
I have Makita and im extremely happy with them, batteries are very good in quality, and power tools are powerful and reliable, I totally recommend them.
I use all three all them, based on my experience of performance
1. Hilti
2.Milwaukee
3.Makita
As of cost,
Makita
Milwaukee
Hilti
Hilti is my way to go i have everything hilti hammer hilti impact hilti drill very good quality product I love em
Hilti for girls
Makita tools any time of the day!
Over 20 years in finish carpentry - I love them!
That 36v cordless mitre saw looks amazing!!
Dachir il fau voir quel type de foret

Hilti for construction, makita for carpentry and milwaukee for plumbing
Maniwasaki Hilti Dont last in construction anymore. They’ve really dropped their quality
Love the batteries in the concrete mixer. A real test. In framing/construction, we do put all tools to the test, all the time. I am a Hilti fan.
I know I am quite off topic but does anyone know a good place to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Joseph Westin Flixportal
@Deandre Tate Thank you, I signed up and it seems to work :D I appreciate it!!

Good Job! Very professional. This deserves more views.
Thank you, Mr Daniel, we always try our best!
HILTI is a good expensive power tool. Makita and Milwaukee are excellent inexpensive power tools.
Can't agree more. Infact more new brand coming out. Really excited about it
Great videos, fairly tested. I run in my workshop Milwaukee tools, both cordless and mains. Have no issues with the tools.
Milwaukee have a lot of great stuff. Pity that they don't have must choice here in Hong Kong
I've worked with all of those brands over the years.
I would rank: 1H, 2Mak, 3Mil,

Hilti has a fantastic customer service ! You pay more money for a hilti but definitely worth it !
Really enjoyable and interesting video. As a Makita man I was hoping the Makita would really outperform the others, I must say the Hilti was super impressive.
Sean Cleverly this was staged the guy was wearing hilti gloves lol and it was a 22v makita is my brand
Well, Hilti is way more expensive. Makita is still very solid quality for the price.
N U R O N !!!
One thing I like about Makita is they make 90 to 100% everything in quality
Agree, yet there are so many new brands and are all very good tools
What is the tool you used for holding the angle grinder and threaded rod? I need that!

Greetings from Poland.
what cells did they use in the hilti, want to redo a older battery ?
0:32 I can't hold my breath watching someone casually throwing 3 batteries for $100 each into a concrete mixer
Me either. My heart stop at that moment, I guess

Burned 2 too many. It sucks then.
These competitions/tests are sprints not marathons. Though good info, hard to get documentation of longevity.
Thank you. They are't easy test, took us so much time to do it
Nice demo, Hilti is the best when it comes to service and warranty :)
Not now, when hilti is warranty 1 year, then it's finished you'll be shoked
4:31 minute, Makita tools wrong model showing , not DHP481 actual is DHR242
Hawkeye! You are correct. Thank you for sharing!
DHR242 is my rotary hammer. I love it.
Inmates test our stuff; because that’s the only person who would put batteries in a cement mixer.

first honest video i seen ... ... nice video ..
nice but hilti got one cell more! 22v against 18V
GREAT!!! What i was expected! Hilti is the best but too expenssive, while makita can give you amazing quality in a reasonable price.. As for milwuake, a good quality but also high price.. i am going to keep working with makita..
I just finished a tough project, both of them really rock! We love them!
Im out of topic but ill choose dewalt with good quality but in a reasonable price...with three brand above ill pick hilti
Good video and good chanel man, congratulations, greetings from Colombia

Figured Hilti would take this. But didn’t think Milwaukee would be last.

Milwakue 18V x 5Ah = 90Wh
Makita 18V x 5Ah = 90Wh
Hilti 22V x 5,2Ah = 114,4Wh !!!!!!! cheated comparison !!!!

Hilti.vs Bosch..yes
Its not the makita dhp481 drill.
How about the price?
🔝 vídeo 🙏🏽
Dear Rodrigues, thank you for your kind word. Merry Christmas

Did anyone else notice the Milwaukee batteries are not the original you can tell by the 5 on it and the line on it
You did not show millwauke circular saw results
Why?
Dear Aleksey, because at that moment, we don't have metal cutting circular saw for Milwaukee yet. I would love to give it a try. Actually, makita is light in weight and cheap in price. Not bad of choice also
@@MASTERALLEY Dear Mr "MASTER ALLEY"
Milwaukee have battery metal cutting circular saw. It's name M18 FMCS

All eyes were on the Hilti product...
good Job
very nicely done, enjoyed watching it
Thank you Mr Verliebt

Now that's what you call an extensive test 👌
Hilti looks uncomfortable to use of it’s shape.
Did you know that Milwaukee’s biggest investor are from Hong Kong ?
I trust Milwaukee will put more effort to keep improving their designs in tools and batteries like the new 21700 batteries. Smaller motor with more torque
Thank you for the great job!
Dear Antoliy, thank you for your support! Please come and watch more of our other English videos product tests!
Hilti can not be compared in capacity because they use a 20 volt platform compared to the milwaukee and makita 18 volt platform
18v X 5ah = 90wh
20v X 5.2ah = 104wh
Do this test with year old batteries..HILTI will struggle as the batteries are poor quality
I have to agree with you on this. Most of my hilti batteries are either dead or 80% or less functional now... So sad as they are so expensive

Dear Tony, thank you for your support!
You do know Hilti is in a class of its own and will destroy both brands!
As much as Hilti Tools cost they should give you free batteries for life, no question's asked.
Darn right! That price is just ....
хорошая работа master alley.!!
Спасибо, хороший друг.
I use Hilti at work where the company pay for all the tools. And makita and Hitachi at home where I pay for the tools. It's like having three (all beautifull in their own way) wives!
Great video. Great work.
That is ronaldinho!
Unfair..battery power not equal..
Really depends on how you like the brand as well as how the handler use the tool.
hilti has 12 batteries inside the rest are built with 11....
No one can beat Hilti.. it really outperform and outlast..
Do you have hilti grinder Ag500 A22
Is it good?
best bang for your buck seems to be milwaukee
Hilti 22v
Makita and milwaukee 18v
Not égal test
Great video!
хилти не законно возвысили и поставили в не равные условия 22 против 18 и всё равно инструмент заслуживает утилизации за неудобства за износостойкость ив качестве сборки и многие другие параметры.
Dont even bother with testing customer service hilti is the best customer service ive had along with stabila
大佬,需不需要玩這麼激烈啊?!
Hilti's competitor was wearing Hilti Gloves, but Hilti's wasn't..
Very observative
Забыли указать цену на каждое изделие.У Makita цена в соотношении 2:1 с другими производителями. Не правильный тест
Ruslan Navaselski и это еще раз подтверждает что Макита лучше всех
I like makita. But looks like its heavy on juice
They are all very amazingly strong tools!
