Is there a way for pgAdmin to generate the visualization of already existing tables? While you draw the tables and draw the connections, the pgAdmin generated queries to create the tables in database, but is it possible to do it opposite way? I have database with tables that are created by python and I want them to be displayed graphically like you draw them. Thanks in advance!
@@mr.random8447 agreed. there are some ugly alternatives for inheritance: - storing every field in a name and value record ("inner-platform effect") - i also read that some databases have proprietary support for inheritance (potential "vendor lock-in") proprietary support for inheritance, doesn't sound completely bad
Nice Video - Keep up the great work! Have you found a nice method to migrate a legacy Access database as a new Postrges database including its relationships?
The most important on 6:15
PS it would be great to begin this video from that point!
Thanks mate. This is exactly what I needed.
Thanks, short and sweet... and direct to the point.
That was extremely helpful for a Postgres noob! TYVM. terrific video!
When I click "Download image", then save it, why the PNG don't show some of the lines on the left and middle area?
of siz hitlilerde olmasanız nabıcam acaba.THANK YOU
How did I miss this feature? Thanks for the video!
What about 1-1 relationship?
Exactly. Why isn't there a 1:1 relationship line?

Nevermind, I've actually figured it out myself -> Right mouse click on database and "ERD For Database" :)
This really helped me, thank you!
That was great, I was really helped. Thank you.
Thanks mate. Very nice demo.
I already have the database. It is possible to load schema to this canvas?
Yes, as shown in the video, you can right click on the DB and click Generate ERD. From 06:15
Thanks for the presentation, keep up the good work!
hi Thanks .what about one to one relationship? i cant see it in the menu.
Any idea how to do setup for one to one relation (as i can see only one to many and many to many) ..By the way thanks for the video
There is a one to many button (Displayed as "1M") on the top of the screen.
@@klinz1404 what about 1:1?
how can i add one to one realationship ?
It's not there. How do i find it even?
Or is it like only for 64bit version? Too bad.
Is there a way to add a “1 to 1” relationship?
1 to 1 would behave same a 1 to M. 1 to 1 is just a representation.
usually you should try to avoid 1 to 1 relationships, and make it into 1 table
@@xybersurfer if modeling super type and subtype, need 1:1
