The interviewer is obviously young and inexperienced- she sound like she’s really listening to his story but at least she’s making the effort. It sounds like this is all new to her. I went to highs hook in the 90s in BC and we defined learned about residential schools. We also had indigenous studies as an alternative to “social studies” sadly it was introduced the year I was graduating. I sure hope the education system has evolved since then not gone backward s.
