Oak Tree Stump 8 Foot Wood Spirit CHAINSAW CARVING TIME-LAPSE

This Oak tree had died and was cut down over a year ago. The property owner decided to leave 8 feet of the trunk to get a carving done in it. I decided to make a little time-lapse video of the carving process, I hope you enjoy it!

That looks awesome. How long did it take and how do you protect it from rot underground? I’m having a green ash removed from emerald ash borer and plan you save the trunk to carve it. Just starting to research the process now.
