Honest question, why don't the karaoke crearors also not do a lyrics version that still uses the karaoke style of showing the words before they are sung and cadence. It sure would be helpful, kinda like karaoke apps that allow you to control the lyrics volume to help learn the song.
Some do. Check out Nice Slice Karaoke. Personally I don't think there would be that much demand for it to warrant the time and effort it would take to make it.

Yeah, for karaoke, the words have to come up in time for you to read them before you sing them. I get how that would be useful as a lyric video for learning songs. We're mostly just churning out karaoke versions so we can sing them, then on to the next.
I don't know what's wrong with your audio but this track is perfectly in sync. I even just double checked it against the original. If it was ahead of the words it wouldn't be in sync, it would be ahead.

Very out of sync, even with an auxcord. If you learn to get ahead of the words a little bit you can do OK
