Greg I stood there like that quite a few times. They’re usually so busy and/or recording GOTD that I’ve stood there like an idiot waiting to try out a guitar or an amp.
I haven’t been there since Mark was still the sales manager. I really have to get down there. Lemmo is a mind blowingly-talented guitar player and he seems like a really cool guy. I’m just trying to come up with a way to justify to my wife that I need another guitar. It isn’t in the budget at the moment. Hell, there’s no room for a Squier in the budget right now! 😂

Damn, I missed this yesterday (got home late, and up early for work) but my word, what a lovely beast!! I've always had a soft spot for Rickenbaker's, mostly my passion for their bass guitars but I have never seen a six string like this!! I love the shape and of course the demo was absolutely lovely, thank you Mr. Lemmo!! Jen those down the neck shots from the headstock just do me in, wonderfully shot, young Lady!! Looking forward to some "Edibles" tomorrow evening!!

I wish you *could* have that guitar, because you really do it justice. This is one of my personal favorites of Rickenbacker demos on UA-cam. Thank you for not going down the same path that many Ric demos go down, song-wise. Creative with a personal touch and different. Really liked the intro, I don't recognize it (if it's a real song) but reminds me of Wes Montgomery at times.. Liked all the playing, actually. A fine job!

I used to have a 381 just like that. Same color, same pickups. Mine was a ‘72 as I recall, and I bought it in 1990. Great-looking guitar, but it didn’t sound as good as that one! Somebody had used a hammer on the bridge posts to try and get it to intonate with the extra-light strings that were on it. Rickenbacker wouldn’t sell me just the posts, so I replaced the whole bridge, and I had a set of toaster pickups installed as well. I still couldn’t get it to sound like a Ric-it sounded kind of dead, actually. It was gorgeous, though! I’ve played some newer reissues that sounded a lot better.

Joseph Grant Ummm, Michael is out of her league. Plus, Jen acted the same way towards Mark. The problem there was that Mark’s wife is nearly flawless.

Hey Mike, your normal looking with a good personality and good voice don’t knock yourself, leave that up to a$$holes they make it a life’s mission. Kindness is weird not all people can pull it off. Ric looked way to chunky for lead

George Chapogas I’m with you on that. It isn’t versatile sound-wise. It feels and sounds like it’s limited to being a strummer.
The Edge from U2 uses a 360 12-string on 8+ of their songs over the years, but the guy’s setup is so complex that any guitar he plays sounds like him. He tends to use a slide when playing them for single string parts.
I wish Gretsch made a solid body Electric 12-string.
