Pa Modou is rightly wary of the Gambia Government not respecting the Court Order to pay him compensation.
There are multiple precedents of this lack of respect for the rule of law by the Barrow government, yet they expect every other citizen to be law abiding.
It does not bode well for the future of our country if the government chooses to disregard a court ruling against it, as this can weaken the rule of law.
