I imagine some critics saying that to “watch steadfastly” is no different than indulging in confirmation bias which is typical cult behavior. I think faith plays a big role here because there comes a point where you just have to say waiting on the Lord is the bet I’m making. So be it.
We appreciate your study and dedication and obedience to the holy spirit to share
Thank you so much for this channel and teaching. Right now it is not possible for me to attend meetings but through you I have class and teaching. You have brought a better understanding of these scriptures. God bless you and your efforts!
I love your way of teaching
Pulling in all the information we have available in current time

Thank you for your time and enthusiasm. Being a widow it’s nice to sit down and have scripture study with someone. Every once in a while I struggle with your approach 😂😂 but all your insights are very appreciated.
Isn’t the language of Nephi’s departing similar to Moses’? Is it suggested that he was likewise translated?
Love your explanation of apostasy and restoration. I am so grateful for the knowledge of revelation yet to come. So grateful we are all privy to revelation and the power of the Holy Ghost to testify to our hearts of truth. You are proof that no matter where we are in life we can continue to gain wisdom and knowledge of God The Father and our beloved Savior, of their love and the promises and protection if we keep the faith and act upon it.
I remember the 2 new people whose names begin with G by reminding myself that GIDGID IS GOODGOOD. Then the other g guy is bad.
We were cut off from our outward privileges by c19 restrictions.

1:42 if you recall, Jesus Christ cursed a sycamore FIG tree 🌳, the tall kind Zacchæus had climbed up to see better because Zacchæus was short of stature.
The sycamore fig tree 🌳 leaves 🍃 withered and the tree died. A dead tree still uncut is called: deadwood. Jesus was hung on dead not a living tree wood.
That tree was also cut down after Jesus was crucified on it. It was standing deadwood.
In the garden of EDEN what kind of fruit did Adam and Eve eat? They made aprons of the leaves 🍃 of the particular tree with, not apples, fruit tree.
People always wondered but the words are in the verses: fig leaves 🍃 come from fig trees 🌳. Fig tree fruit are figs.
Thanks 💡 😊
Thank you, how do I start seeing it from the beginning of the Book of Mormon ?
If you “subscribed” to Brother Halverson’s page, you should be able to scroll all the way back to January 2024…or search “Unshaken” Book of Mormon. Wish you well.
Thank you, but I want to know how Can I start following the Book of Mormon from the beginning chapter 1
Brother Halverson posts them all even the ones from 4 years ago, in UA-cam. Just search for Halverson Unshaken 1 Nephi, or any book/chapter.
It's a treasure trove.
3 Nephi 2:15-16 says "And their curse was taken from them, and their skin became
white like unto the Nephites; And their young men and their daughters became exceedingly
fair, and they were numbered among the Nephites, and were called Nephites".
What happened to the older converted Lamanites? Did they also become exceedingly fair
like their children?
Fair in spirit - of course! Black and white in the ancient world along with fair and dark, referred to people's spiritual status.
@@michelehearns5325 It sounds like you are a new member because you haven’t read LDS Church explanations
about black skin being a sign of the curse.
Here is something President Kimball taught back in 1960.
The day of the Lamanites is nigh. For years they have been growing
de-lightsome, and they are now becoming white and delightsome, as
they were promised. In this picture of the twenty Lamanite missionaries,
fifteen of the twenty were as light as Anglos; five were darker but
equally delightsome. The children in the home placement program in Utah
are often lighter than their brothers and sisters in the hogans on the
reservation.
At one meeting a father and mother and their sixteen-year-old daughter
were present, the little member girl - sixteen - sitting between the
dark father and mother, and it was evident she was several shades lighter
than her parents - on the same reservation, in the same hogan, subject to
the same sun and wind and weather. There was the doctor in a Utah city
who for two years had had an Indian boy in his home who stated that he was
some shades lighter than the younger brother just coming into the program
from the reservation. These young members of the Church are changing to
whiteness and to delight-someness. One white elder jokingly said that he
and his companion were donating blood regularly to the hospital in the
hope that the process might be accelerated.
