this video deserves so many more views, im new to lure fishing have been doing my own thing but it is fantastic to see the lures and how to best work them
Greetings, I'm new to your Chanel, but have enjoyed several of them. While going to your chanel I noticed you haven't uploaded videos since 2019. Is there a reason you stopped uploading new material? Hope all is well. ✌️
Excuse this stupid question but what exactly makes a fish skittish? Have they somehow learned that some of the food they eat has been known to drag there asses out of the water and murder them or are they just always afraid of eating food? 🤔
I tried that in my condos swimming pool when i was still im SG,someone complained about it and security reminded to so it at late night or early morning when no can see..bummer..thanks BTW, awesome tips as usual.
Just curious, on the lift and fall, is it something you don't use? It seems like a common technique other fisherman use. Based on your experience, how does it compare to twitch and fall?
Samuel Pua I wouldnt say I don't use lift and fall at all, probably more accurate would be that for the types of rubbers and soft plastics that I use, lift and fall is not a technique I would go to. From my own experiences, I find that there aren't many benefits to slow falling any lure that isn't built to do something while falling. Fish usually bite on the drop or at the start of the movement because there is an immediate and large change in speed, either from stationary to fast or the opposite. The less rapid/extreme the change, the less reaction you are gonna get. On the otherhand, if you had a lure that was built to actually do something on a slow fall, that's a different story. Lures like the spearhead ryuki or the survivor are specifically designed to flutter when "falling on a tight line", which is just a fancy way of saying "lower your rod tip slowly after lifting". With these types of lures, I most definitely do the lift and fall quite often. Hope this helps.
Thanks for that, really informative for a beginner like me, xD. ive tried it along the rocks at pandan, but somehow i always get my line snagged. Does that happen often for you? any idea how i can counter that? thanks!
Sabre has the cultiva twin tail grub, as of 2 days ago it was in stock. My fav colour is dirty watermelon (dark green, red flakes). The other one i bought in usa bass pro shop when I was there.
3-4 years later and this is the best video I've found, who knew you would be helping a new angler from the UK

Many Thanks Mr BCSG. But it's not too hard in Pandan ? because there are a lot of rocks on the bottom (I lost many lures there hard or soft ).
This has helped so much!! Thank you 👍🏻

The twin tail grub? That is a crappy maxx twin tail grub and too my knowledge it is only available from bass pro shops in usa
