That doesn't make much sense. What you know of "God" essentially comes from the very church you claim to distrust, making the whole thing rubbish. Why do you trust there's even a God if you don't know trust what the church says? Either you believe the scholars and clergy's actions were directed by God or you believe your own tale that you spin in your head about God which is like worshipping any rubbish you believe is God.

It’s really impossible to choice the Real one so one goes by faith. A certain religion or book does not keep one from doing wrong. Agreed... it's several thousand years old at this point, it was already several centuries old in the times of the old testament and already a subject of debate between hebrews. The lore is fascinating especially when you consider it is even referenced in the new testament and it may be even the reason we see description of "Giants" and other humanois creatures reported walking the earth by the centuries of the old testament.

They aren't hidden. They are IN the Catholic version of the Bible. Its called The Book of Wisdom (of Solomon). All three "secret" sections gone over in the video are there. It's actually my favorite book in the Bible.
The most shocking part is that humanity could not find balance with these historical sections of the past, and that all the writings left to us could not be included in the understanding of the societies. It is sad that so much pain and conflict was born out of the weak ability to digest such written experiences and that so many people have suffered. We are so lost as a people due to lack of knowledge and understanding which was purposely with held. Yet we worship willing and blindly without questions being asked! Sad truth is we fail to unite and share knowledge so we can strengthen what was taken from us and what now appears broken and lost……

The Oxfordians might take issue because there is a case for the actual translator (perhaps compiler) to be Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford (in his spare time between writing Shakespeare’s plays). It requires a dive down a very deep rabbit hole, but it is a warren worth exploring. The Shakespeare part of the story is compelling.

Well, the Apocrypha is actually in the Catholic Bible. They are called deuterocanonical books, and they aren't hidden. Even the Book of Wisdom (of Solomon) with it's 3 "secret parts" are there. I know because it's my favorite book in the Bible. The Apocrypha is what the Protestants called these books when they removed them from the Canon. The story of how/why they were completely removed and how the printing press is the REAL cause is fascinating. If you are interested, look up subjects like "the Gnostic Gospels" and Dead Sea Scrolls, and the history of the Bible and the printing press. This video is really bad. There's some really cool stuff out there. The real history and complexity is amazing. And yes, the Church is hiding things, but none of it is what's in this video.
I don’t mean to contest but scholars have approx 3500 handwritten copies of the NT in Greek that predate any compiled biblical compilation including a copy of mark that is dated within 50 years of Jesus’s death. Any attempt to change text would completely be squashed by textual analysis. We know way more about the original composition of the Bible than any other historical book in history. I’m not too keen on why the apocrypha was left out but there is significant scholarship done on this. The book of Enoch was very influential to the NT writers. No it did not address aliens but actually the downfall of the watchers in Genesis 6 and their specific crimes. It only expands on what’s actually in the Bible. Please do your own research on this. There is so much good peer reviewed scholarship out there available to the public.

I love reading the bible but I certainly don’t put much stock in it as a book of truth. It has some great messages and some tales of horror. The old testament god was horrific while his son was fairly nice in comparison. I don’t see how anyone can ignore the evil in it though.

With regard to number 10: The 'Apocrypha' is a combination of Greek words meaning "from the cryptic" which means that we didn't always know about them. We don't include them in most New Testaments because they most likely weren't written by eye witnesses to Jesus and his ministry. It's not some great secret that the church wants to keep from you lol.

Close. The Apocrypha is the Protestant name for the books they removed from the Bible. They are all Old Testaments books. They are technically called deuterocanonical books. When the Church assembled the Bible in the 4th century, over 400 years after the death of Christ, they went through thousands of writings (books). Thousands. They argued for YEARS to create the Canon. Thousands...whittled down to 73 books. We only have fragments of what they threw out, such as the Book of Enoch and other Gnostic writings.

So, as I originally stated, Apocrypha is a Greek word that means something we aren't sure about. So, they didn't include it because they weren't sure about authorship or whether it fit into orthodox theological categories originally set out by the eye witnesses. These include a lot of what was found at Nag Hammadi.

The Apocrypha is one of the least known in the Western World especially in both Protestant and Roman Catholic Church. In my opinion keeping texts either forbidden or secret has a price that in the long run will be very painful.

The historicity of this is quite interesting. As for the theology, watch closely not only what each supposed denomination avers as true, but what they say about each other. Apply critical reasoning to each and every assertion.

Book of Enoch was obviously removed because it's the Truth, but didn't fit the controlling plans or vision the church was about to enforce, even though it's indisputably one of the original texts of their religion.

Just thought I’d say that certain books were omitted from the Bible because it didn’t talk about Jesus. Doesn’t mean they are wrong or false although some contradicted Jesus’s teachings. Like the Book of Enoch talking about Angels coming down and teaching humans knowledge. I believe those were demons that had no choice to come down because they were thrown out of Heaven. As for teaching us knowledge they only taught humans so they could use us to try and fight God again after losing the first time. The Bible simply talks about Jesus predicted to come, Jesus coming to fulfill what’s written, Jesus dying and resurrected. Anything outside of that was taken out. The original Bible was too massive to read so that’s why the started deciding how to streamline the information and keep the main points and get Jesus’s message across. Doesn’t mean all the other books are wrong just had to slim it down so people could read it and understand it better. Some books were taken out tho because they claimed to hear from God and then would promote non sense or gospels contradicting God. Plus the Bible now has biblical hermeneutics which means if you wanna know something is true it will be mentioned in the Old and New Testament.

"The original teachings of Jesus"? Not one word of the bible is written by him, its all written by others long after, that CLAIM he said it. Written decades after in most cases & by unknown people, people that didn't know him or that even ever met him. People that wrote completely conflicting things & events about him to the rest.

You’re talking about Thomas Cromwell, Henry VIII’s chief minister, but you’re showing pictures of Oliver Cromwell, who came on the scene a good 100 years later in the middle 1600s. Thomas Cromwell was was Henry’s chief minister and was beheaded in 1540. Oliver Cromwell led the Parliamentarians against the Royalists during the English Civil War that destroyed the monarchy, when they beheaded King Charles I.
God will handle those who added or took away from His Word. Revelation 18-19. I am doing just fine with what I have. With prayer, obedience, the hoot spirit and the Bible I have is enough for me to know that Jesus died for my sins. That he’s the son of God. And if you believe in Him and repent of your sins and sin no more you are saved.

Glad some one jumped in to state som facts. Henry the 8th died 1547 oliver cromwell was born 1639 almost 100 years apart.
Thomas cromwell was executed 28 July 1540. Oliver was a distant relation via his mother.

They aren't hidden. They are IN the Catholic version of the Bible. Its called The Book of Wisdom (of Solomon). All three "secret" sections gone over in the video are there. It's actually my favorite book in the Bible.

The book of Enoch was written by James Bruce,a Freemason from Scotland. James Bruce spent 8 years in Ethiopia looking for the book of Enoch and came back to Scotland with 3 copies. You appear to be very convinced of what you assert e.g. that Francis Bacon translated the KJV. The Oxfordians might take issue because there is a case for the actual translator (perhaps compiler) to be Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford (in his spare time between writing Shakespeare’s plays). It requires a dive down a very deep rabbit hole, but it is a warren worth exploring. The Shakespeare part of the story is compelling.

Well, the Apocrypha is actually in the Catholic Bible. They are called deuterocanonical books, and they aren't hidden.
Even the Book of Wisdom (of Solomon) with it's 3 "secret parts" are there. I know because it's my favorite book in the Bible.
The Apocrypha is what the Protestants called these books when they removed them from the Canon. The story of how/why they were completely removed and how the printing press is the REAL cause is fascinating.
If you are interested, look up subjects like "the Gnostic Gospels" and Dead Sea Scrolls, and the history of the Bible and the printing press.

I don’t mean to contest but scholars have approx 3500 handwritten copies of the NT in Greek that predate any compiled biblical compilation including a copy of mark that is dated within 50 years of Jesus’s death. Any attempt to change text would completely be squashed by textual analysis. We know way more about the original composition of the Bible than any other historical book in history. I’m not too keen on why the apocrypha was left out but there is significant scholarship done on this. The book of Enoch was very influential to the NT writers. No it did not address aliens but actually the downfall of the watchers in Genesis 6 and their specific crimes. It only expands on what’s actually in the Bible. Please do your own research on this. There is so much good peer reviewed scholarship out there available to the public.

I love reading the bible but I certainly don’t put much stock in it as a book of truth. It has some great messages and some tales of horror. The old testament god was horrific while his son was fairly nice in comparison. I don’t see how anyone can ignore the evil in it though.

With regard to number 10: The 'Apocrypha' is a combination of Greek words meaning "from the cryptic" which means that we didn't always know about them. We don't include them in most New Testaments because they most likely weren't written by eye witnesses to Jesus and his ministry. It's not some great secret that the church wants to keep from you lol.

Close. The Apocrypha is the Protestant name for the books they removed from the Bible. They are all Old Testaments books. They are technically called deuterocanonical books.
When the Church assembled the Bible in the 4th century, over 400 years after the death of Christ, they went through thousands of writings (books). Thousands.
They argued for YEARS to create the Canon. Thousands...whittled down to 73 books.
We only have fragments of what they threw out, such as the Book of Enoch and other Gnostic writings.

So, as I originally stated, Apocrypha is a Greek word that means something we aren't sure about. So, they didn't include it because they weren't sure about authorship or whether it fit into orthodox theological categories originally set out by the eye witnesses. These include a lot of what was found at Nag Hammadi.

The Apocrypha is one of the least known in the Western World especially in both Protestant and Roman Catholic Church. In my opinion keeping texts either forbidden or secret has a price that in the long run will be very painful.

This is the result of a primary school level of reasoning in biblical scholarship. These things aren't hidden (for they are studied as history by scholars) they are simply rejected as not being worthwhile or just plain false. Just like this video.

Just thought I’d say that certain books were omitted from the Bible because it didn’t talk about Jesus. Doesn’t mean they are wrong or false although some contradicted Jesus’s teachings. Like the Book of Enoch talking about Angels coming down and teaching humans knowledge. I believe those were demons that had no choice to come down because they were thrown out of Heaven. As for teaching us knowledge they only taught humans so they could use us to try and fight God again after losing the first time. The Bible simply talks about Jesus predicted to come, Jesus coming to fulfill what’s written, Jesus dying and resurrected. Anything outside of that was taken out. The original Bible was too massive to read so that’s why the started deciding how to streamline the information and keep the main points and get Jesus’s message across. Doesn’t mean all the other books are wrong just had to slim it down so people could read it and understand it better. Some books were taken out tho because they claimed to hear from God and then would promote non sense or gospels contradicting God. Plus the Bible now has biblical hermeneutics which means if you wanna know something is true it will be mentioned in the Old and New Testament.

"The original teachings of Jesus"? Not one word of the bible is written by him, its all written by others long after, that CLAIM he said it. I’m confused-which Church doesn’t want its followers exposed to these books? As stated, there are many denominations, and much of this information, especially about Henry VIII, is common knowledge.
What ALWAYS makes me Mad is when people consider the Watchers as "The Fallen." The 1/3 of the Angels that were cast out of Heaven and followed Lucifer into the Void. Those Followers are call Demons.
