Would love to see that happening and the first to do a quad axel jump, standing in his way will be American Nathan Chen, and this is going to be a great rivalry between Hanyu and Chen.
@@Yuhon100 if judges actually scored PCs and GOEs accordingly to what was being performed on the ice then Chen would still have absolutely no chance against Hanyu, but as it is, Yuzuru might be perfect and still lose to Nathan who has virtually no edges in his step sequences and basically no transition and might even land quads, yes, with no difficult entries, 0 running edge and stiff knees. The only real competition PCs-wise is Jason Brown in the current field, but PCs are just used as a tech booster nowadays, unfortunately

@@carolwatanabe7576 hanyu is technicaly skilled also, he doesnt jump the hardest quads because he has multiple injuries. But the jumps he does are mostly effortless in my opinion witch i value more than flutzes and shaky landed quads. (not talking about nathan in particular) thats just technick-wise. On PCS they can’t be comperable, Hanyu is diffrent class of greatnes

Again and again, Yuzuru shows us how a figure skating should be performed. His soft transition moves are like a light bird is flying over the ice. When he jumps, he just took off the ice without any preparation, like a butterfly, and so high and so quick he rotated his body, and landing as if he just came from the heaven, so elegantly and eloquently. Just beautiful. And all the audiences are captivated by this natural beauty and his soulful and emotional performance. He is indeed an ice legend.

Корявые, нелепые, даже зловещие, как представитель США в 2010, немузыкальные! Опять же, они великие фигуристы, просто потом появился Ханю, и стёр их всех в порошок. Невероятная лёгкость, невесомость, а самое главное - мягкость и выразительность катания, в сочетании с невероятно сложными элементами! Он катается душой! Или сердцем! Но он катается так, что я замираю! Я не дышу, когда он катается! Действительно гений фигурного катания! Не умаляю заслуг всех остальных выдающихся фигуристов. И мне фиолетово, что он не выиграл последнюю олимпиаду, мне вообще начхать на эти медали! Последний победитель, Натан Чен - это не о фигурном катании, это человек вышел попрыгать прыжки на льду, да ещё для вида помахал ручками, ножками. Конечно, великий труд, напряжение, то, се. Безусловно, великий выдающийся, теперь и олимпийский чемпион. Но... У него не будет той всенародной любви людей разных стран и национальностей, как у Ханю, которому люди раз и навсегда отдают свою беззаветную любовь. Наверное, тут дело не в профессионализме, а в состоянии души и в самом человеке. Не зря все они боятся участвовать с Ханю в ледовом шоу, катаются в другом шоу.Потому что он их всех затмевает своей экспрессией и харизмой.

Why did you use Yuzuru's SP from the 2014 Sochi team event? His SP from individual event was even better and broke 100 points/the WR!

I know there was a lot of controversy with Evan with his routine having no quads in it. I think the artistry is what got his win. But I loved it.

На следующий день ещё раз пересмотрела всех победителей олимпиад. Я хотела убедиться, что моя оценка объективна. Очень уж удивительно, что на мой взгляд, все эти выдающиеся спортсмены скачут по льду как козлы, принимая неестественные позы. А выступление Ханю такое естественное, смотрится так органично, смотрится как "так и должно быть". Оказывается, его манера естественного изящного катания - это ИСКЛЮЧЕНИЕ из общего числа фигуристов. Сегодня впечатления те же, что и вчера. Теперь мне понятно, почему, если Ханю уйдет, то одиночное мужское опять станет унылым и второсортным зрелищем, понятна безмерная печаль фанатов перед пресс-конференцией Юдзуру, которая состоится завтра, 19.07.2022.
👏👍Спасибо за правдивый комментарий🙏. На чемпионате прошлого года он оправдался: трибуны полупустые и смотреть практически было не на что. Молодцом был Шома Уно. Старые выступления Ханю теперь пересматриваю ежедневно, новых полноценных нет, только милые "цитаты", в том числе и " Пролог".Очень жаль...

プログラムとして一番好きなのはロンドカプリチオーソ。全日本でのロンカプは怪演と言っていい程、動きが研ぎ澄まされて複雑なプログラムを滑り切ったけど、オリンピックでは、あの4Sの素晴らしさを世界に中継できず、ファンとしては勿体なく思った。
オリンピックで演じきったと言うと
バラ1は一番非の打ち所がない出来で、満点でなくて何なのだ？と、採点に不満な程、あまりに素晴らしいフィギュアスケートだった。
完璧+アルファの出来映えだった。

It is incredible how Plushenko influenced figure skating for the last two decades. First, Yagudin needed to be great to beat him, and he did. Of course Evgeny was amazing in Torino, he put his heart on that free program. But if you watched the competitions of those years, everybody was trying to look like him in a certain way. Then, Lysacek included a lot of the artistic side and dance steps of Plush and surprised everybody in 2010 (btw, my favourite routine from that year was "fallen angel" by Johny Weir). And Finally, you see the brilliant Yuzuru Hanyu, keeping the artistic expression on top and delivering a mesmerizing performance in the last two olympic games. Just amazing. I love them all.
Yagudin era la piedra que detenia el paso a Plushenko, no fue hasta el retiro de Yagudin que Plushenko realmente pudo ganar como él queria y tambien fue Yagudin quien obligó a Plushenko a trabajar en la parte artistica no sólo en lo técnico; en 2003 cuando Yagudin se retira ya era 4 veces campeon mundial y es el único patinador en conseguir el Grand Slam Dorado es decir ganó todas las competencias importantes en la temporada 2001-2002 Gran Prix Final, Europeos, Olimpiada, Mundial; nadie ni siquiera Yuzuru pudo conseguir dicha hazaña debido a que se le atravesaban los 4CC que recien pudo ganar en 2020

Johnny's skating is so beautiful! I loved him since I first saw him skate at 2006 Olympics. Plushenko, Lysacek are not my favourites (their moves are too sharp for my liking). Yagudin and Hanyu are gorgeous. Wishing Yuzuru to land 4A and win the third Olympic gold!

La rivalidad Yagudin vs Pluschenko era legendaria, hasta ahora no se ha visto en varones un contrapunto entre 2 patinadores tan fuertes y ganadores.
En el futuro espero ver un duelo así, Kagiyama está esperando a su rival... puede ser Malinin o tal vez un Ruso (🙏)

We live in the Era of Hanyu Yuzuru.He is young but he has already inscribed his name in the figure skating glory gallery forever.
Есть фигуристы, которые на соревнованиях катаются для судей ( сдают экзамен). У них все технично: и прыжки, и вращения, и дорожки, и вроде движение рук правильное, но….. нет эмоций самого фигуриста, искренности и радости от катания, хотя и становятся золотыми призерами.
И есть другие. Они выступают на любых соревнованиях для судей, для тренера, для своих родных и конечно для нас зрителей. И каждая программа у них- это как показательные выступления, где есть все: техника, артистизм, эмоции, искренность, наслаждение и любовь к катанию. Они входят в наши сердца навсегда!!! Это Алексей Ягудин и Юзуру Ханю!!!

While I love Yuzuru and hoping for another gold in 2022 Olympics, my favorite Men's program EVER is Alexei Yagudin short and long program in 2002. Everything from costume to music to skill was breathtaking still to this day. 4 perfect 6's. Tatiana Tarosava is a brilliant coach. Go Yuzuru!!!!!!!
Tatiana works magic. Somehow she gets the best from all her skaters. I don't think Yagudin would have been as successful without her.

Todos son unos genios técnicamente hablando, pero Yuzuru es el arte personificado, cada movimiento de su cuerpo sincronizado al ritmo de la música, cada gesto, Yuzuru hace que quien no entienda de patinaje artístico, se interese por el deporte, es una delicia verlo, sin duda está fuera de este mundo. 👑❄️❤️

@@TheCandiceWang Yes, I also watched Plushenko but I liked Yagudin better. I felt his performance was real "figure skating".
Yagudin was the first in I don't know how long (ever?) who'd get as much applause for his foot work combinations as for his jumps. If not more. He's the one that pushed me from "sure, figure skating is ok", to actively following it.

IMHO, Alexei Yagudin had toured with two of the greatest showmen and pioneering performers of men's figure skating, Kurt Browning, and Philippe Candeloro, just prior to the Olympics, when Browning and Candeloro were taking skating performances worldwide to the "next level", and so was far and away above everyone else at the 2002 Olympics in how he connected with his audience. A real treat to watch.

I could watch Evgeni Plushenko forever. He made me a fan back in 2002. and now its 2022 olympics. If it wasnt for him, i dont think i wouldve stayed. I found Yuzuru Hanyu because of Plushenko. Fingers crossed to Hanyu, I really hope he skates clean and lands the 4A. I dont even care if he wins or not, I just want to see a smile on his face when he skates clean.
