Probably yes, you have keep pen drive formatted in exFat. NTFS format won't work.

you performed all these test with Ex-FAT? Right? What about NTFS? Could you conduct another similar testing with NTFS file system? And then compare the result with this Ex-FAT?

Yes with exFAT. We tried with NTFS too , in both cases we get similar results not much difference
