The Evolution of Borderlands Tutorials

- A very overlooked part of the Borderlands games are the Tutorial segments. The beginning of the game that teaches you how to play, what to do and what your in for. Since the Borderlands games are known for their replayability, these sections become alot more important as there is no part of the game your going to play more then the start.
This video includes a breakdown of all Tutorial segments throughout the Borderlands franchise and a ranking of all of them to round the video off! I'm trying something new with this whole: "Explaining what you already know" stuff, but I've always enjoyed videos like this myself so thought I'd have a go at making one!

You got to do more of these video essays. Super entertaining. Also I think bl2 has the best start IMO. All the farms and side missions that are super easy and quick to do, plenty of accessible farms, and the early guns are also still pretty good to use.
Bl2 is probs the objective best one, like I said in my ranking... I'm biased as fuck lmaoo. Thanks for the compliment tho
I love pre sequel but it’s definitely the weakest start sadly. It even has a farm you can’t get back to.

TPS is my fav because of Jack, also LOVE low gravity and the O2 aspect and butt slam, but i absolutely love the fresh, real, gritty yet mellow feel of BL1 (not to mention the unbelievably good acoustic ambient music), and the fragility you feel at the start of BL2 that reminds me of waking up in the real world from the Matrix, and then for BL3 i have such a hard time getting past the AMAZING music of the main menu - best menu music ive ever heard.
Btw has anyone seen where Cashews come from??? One cashew hanging from the bottom of a cashew apple.... Like wtf soooo far from what i ever imagined

The revive tutorials are there. BL2 just put it after Sanctuary... Into Frostburn Canyon along with first Class mod.
In BL3 it's still in first Area, you revive Claptrap after turning of that huge ass magnet. Right before the first "talk to Lilith" :(

I didn't mention frostburn Canyon as that's way off of the tutorial segment and is completly redundant as a "tutorial" cause your party members would've gone into ffyl by that point.

I know this is kind of Irrelevant to the video but I like how in Borderlands 2 VR they actually added in extra voice lines to teach you how to play in VR lol but claptrap's voice....oof.

Cool Video .. Revival in BL2 is covered pretty late when you find the Firehawk. First thing is to revive her.
Thanks! I didn't talk about reviving Lilith in bl2 as it wasn't in the tutorial segment and by the time your in frostburn you'd know how to revive a team mate just by playing
Flynt was okay with Gaige and Hammerlock's Jakobs sniper rifle, not to mention Deathtrap. Btw also leveling up to i think 5 from the side quests

Man, if there was ANY video that I could land on first to introduce me to the Borderlands world, it would DEFINITELY be this one!
It covers all bases as an instructional video, an actual solid review that has quite a lot of positivity to promote it and, cause you're such a solid comedian at the same time - there's no chance of any of this becoming a snore fest!

@@Cashew1405 I mean it dude! A lot of my time searching for things were either hour long game plays, searching specific missions to fix where I'm stuck on or asking about weapons/gear I've already heard of - this clip answered 80% of the questions I never knew to ask/type when I started
If you needed to edit the title, tags or descriptions to make it search engine friendly then I'd suggest you go ahead with it - it was really helpful
