He did not win last election but all APC governors S/W, N/W, N/C and wike PDP faction.

I wonder if Kassim even knows the candidate his party has thrown forward? He talks as though he speaks the mind of the Edolites in general. Although the Governor has not been perfect In all areas, but in his stewardship in the last 8 years, one thing is pertinent to the people in the streets in Benin city and some major parts in Edo state, they are tired of these political hyenas that keep scavenging and preying on them, there's a huge difference between Obaseki and his predecessors, I expected nothing less from Kassim, come September 21st, 2024, Edo people will speak once again, and it will be very very clear once again. We know Edo north will kowtow to APC and Oshiomhole forces especially in the Etsako speaking LGAs, but Edo South will roar and thunder with their voice and stand with PDP, and both candidates from APC and PDP will divide the spoils in Edo central, my honest opinion, that's why the Governor is trying to leverage Akoko Edo and Owan.

@@okeoja4447 Obaseki is very different from them, because in the past the political elite are good at sharing monies amongst themselves and having nothing to show for it. Their modus operandi was to cluster around government house, pretend that they are intermediary between the government and the people, while hurting the people and promoting lawlessness at every occasion and encouraging rag tag agbero in the state. The narrative has changed, more people with formal education have been given opportunities to be more expressive in the face of government, education has been given more attention rather than lip service and red roof renovations, the trajectory for business, commerce has gone to a new level with more investments from just ordinary citizens in the state to both foreign and local investors. I live in the United States currently, but I was born and raised in Benin city, I know the difference between what Obaseki represents and what his predecessors represented. The man "Obaseki" in my opinion is a bit modest with his publicity and attention seeking, if he rolls out the camera like Oshiomhole did and begins to showcase his work, a lot of these critics will scamper to hide their heads in shame. Ask any of them, what is their grossness against him, it's always he doesn't carry us along, when carrying them along means the state resources will suffer because they will mismanage it like they did before. Well you asked for answers, here is just a snippet of my answer to your question.

How about what Wike did to Amaechi, Omehia, Atiku? It is all about Nigeria politics. How about Oshiomhole Afagbua is defending, did he not also betray his mentors? It is all about Nigeria politics. @busenijustice3078 ,what do you mean by nothing? When he took over ,because of the 210bn debt, workers and pensioners were owed months. But today, Edo is among the only 11 states named by the national planning office ,as states that are able to pay its salaries and pensions without FAAC. Edo state has the Highest minimum wage and its paid regularly for 13 months(2× in December.Obaseki's works are scattered everywhere in the state and verifiable.

Afegbua is sick. Obaseki has performed excellently well but he doesn't like commissioning so as not to waste resources. APC candidate can't express himself 🤣. Afegbua didn't get job from Obaseki so it's painful to him.
