I remember once...had wax in ears..got that fixed..and everything was restored... another time I wasn't plugged in all the way on a couple of components....and then.... finally got laid...😆 lol...fixed that funk.... back to boogie again...!!
LOL. I actually had a good, professional ear cleaning a year ago and I had to Re position my speaker slightly due to a slight change of imaging. I actually listened to my system some earlier it sounds great. Amazing how one's mentality can effect hearing :)
You will go through this in any hobby or even your main job, where you mentally check out. Heck I was checked out from Hifi and photography for over a year. Photography is also a job for me as well and by checking out in that area I mean, not following any trends. It happens because life happens. You will get your groove back.
Yes. I think all professionals go thru a funk. I've been away from the HiFi stuff (while enjoying my system ) for close to a year. I'm starting to come around buying records again. I think I had so many records I didn't listen to, plus other home projects, my attention span could only take so much
Dear friend, I am in a moment that I only enjoy my music. Tired of tweaking, and also don’t want to buy any record, any device. For me , my system is sounding ok , after a long time of about two years to tune properly all the components for a great interaction. So now, I want to listen comfortably. There are more expensive systems , but mine sounds very very decent and kick others 10 times more costly than mine. I didn’t like the controversy of Mofi, extreme opinions, and for me is not important, because I try to buy fine European vinils of prestige seals, I only want an excellent recording, digital or analog. I appreciate very much your comments, are interesting for me, and I hope to see you frequently in this space, and maybe know you and have a coffe some day. I am saying that because I live overseas. My best wishes to you and family in 2023, and don’t leave listen music. Felipe Zitzmann
Thanks for watching. Focusing more on the music is why I went integrated and simplified my setup. When I had multiple components, I was too busy fiddling every time I listened. I now just turn on my Luxman and let the music play. The built-in phono pre of the Luxman is EXCELLENT. I have no reason to separate again.
