Keeping Friendships In The Sims Is Actually Impossible
The Sims has been rereleased on modern operating systems from EA. You can now play this directly through steam! To celebrate this I installed the game to start up a new challenge run. Much like my previous Sims 2 Bootstraps challenge I will be doing the same for the Sims. A real rags to riches story. I start on an empty lot with zero money to my name and no shelter. To pull myself up by the bootstraps i will need to get a job as soon as possible and race against the destruction of my body to build myself a home and become the richest sim in sim city.

Based on the title- Just go to other houses to build friendships. Play as the Newbies, Chris + Melissa, Michael Bachelor, etc., and have them call YOU over to their house. It's still an uphill battle due to the choice in mechanics and how fast it dissipates, but that makes it doable.
