I am absolutely delighted to have discovered this great mind: thanks to Aubrey Marcos. And of course thanks to the uploaders and of course Mr. Demello.

In order to be happy you don't have to add anything. You have to drop something. If you are not happy now, it can only be that you have placed a condition on your happiness. I will be happy but only if x, y, z....

Very good background music. Contrary to many comments written for videos, i really like them. What is the song of the video? Btw, thank you a lot for sharing invaluable lessons from Anthony de Mello. He is one of the greatest minds of the 20th century. Considering the times we live in, it's amazing to see how truthful he was back then. He was definitely far ahead in the era he lived. Still, for now, he is astonishingly wise and eternal. He is one of a few people who I'd wish I'd seen and met in real life.

His message is wonderful. I could do without the soundtrack though.

It's easy to say this, but was he really encountering too many stressful situations? I mean I come from a background of hospice, and currently critical care nursing. I've seen many people die. I worked a covid icu. My wife and I are also raising a family of 5 kids. You learn to let go through hard times if you dont have any of these life responsibilities or similar experiences you can be the nicest person in the world but you havent felt what that person is going through because you havent experienced it. What I've learned through the chaos is to stop seeking, literally stop, and just be who you are. In that stillness theres presence.

@@multpodyeah I try not to judge, but when he was harping on disconnecting from family in another video I realized he was speaking from his own experience and making personal judgments about others..a person shouldn't let go of their natural love for others...seems like in life just have to understand what we can and cant control. But you're right I dont know what hes gone through, at the same time his teachings probably dont apply to me

We also go thru hardships and struggles so that when we overcome that struggle that we may help others who are suffering with the same thing we struggled with. Your career sounds so fascinating. God puts people on your Path everyday.

i don't think he's judging but discerning from experience personally and from friends, family and clients...DeMello is just telling you 'how' if you are in that way ... i've known many a folk who took up new residence, so to speak, all different in their ends which are not 'ends' at all but in the hospice workers heads and most folks standing around...a neighbor friend was walking by the other day and she looked so worn out with red eyes and she was gesturing all over the place saying 'tears are exhausting, i've been to a funeral, oh i'm so tired i have to nap'...the next day she'll be 'feeling' in relation to this or that...to life i give my joy and to death i give my tears...death receives tears and makes joy and life receives joy and makes tears...no big deal is all he's saying...people can go happy, sad or glad no matter...he's right on about happiness...mortality is handled differently by these beings some call 'human'...people all get 'what's coming to them' whether they deserve it or not....but, that sentence, like all words, fail to get across my meager trip...happiness is a breath away...Thich Nhat Hanh attitude...judgmental to judging to discernment , understanding , compassion and sheer joy in the weird ass miracle of all...loves

No offence but all I am hearing from your comments is "I"' , "I", "I" . And have you considered you might have missed the message? You accuse someone who is trying to do good of doing bad.
