Bighorn Mountains: Buffalo to Ten Sleep

I love driving over the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming. There are three routes going west: Hwy 14 from Ranchester, near Sheridan, to Greybull, Hwy 14A from Ranchester to Lovell, and Hwy 16 from Buffalo to Ten Sleep. They are called Scenic Byways. My video takes you from Buffalo to Ten Sleep.
Cloud Peak is the tallest mountain in the Bighorns at 13,175 feet.
The small ranching community of Ten Sleep is in Washakie County. It is located in the Bighorn Basin in the western foothills of the Bighorn Mountains, about 59 miles from Buffalo. The population was 206 at the 2020 census www.townoftensleep.com
The name of the town delights people. A local gas station has a big sign on its front explaining how the town got its name. I feature the sign at the end of my video.
