Can we stop calling them "Generators" they don't generate anything. They store energy. They are nothing more than battery backups. They are great but with any battery how long will they last. Yes they have a large capacity but how long will that last. A normal UPS you use on your computer is pretty much dead after 3-5 years. Those are lead acid but still, the battery will degrade. It's another "battery" device where nobody thinks about the maintenance about them down the road. Let's get an electric car with a battery that's toast after 5-7 years and not think about it now how to deal with that.
