CERTAINTEED PRESIDENTIAL SERIES ASPHALT SHINGLES

Sharing a video on the Certainteed Presidential Series Asphalt Shingles.
After comparing different brands, we feel this is the best product for our home.
This series is also called multi-layered Luxury Shingles since it's the most pricey of the shingles.
The lowest-cost shingles are the 3-tab shingles which aren't that great with high winds then you have architectural laminated shingles which are middle ground. Those are better than 3-tab shingles but the luxury ones or top-of-the-line ones should last longer than others. The big trade-off is the pricing.
Based on my research, you would look for something durable that can stand up to high winds, lift up the shingles, and impact hail impacting the shingles. Warranties aren't easy to claim and get a certified installer specializing in that brand. Appearance like color can influence purchase decisions.
Depending on the location of the home and climate can also influence your selection.
The 2 most famous brands in our area are GAF and CertainTeed. There are many others but we like to stick with the leading brands.
