Play the story it will make you better as you go along practice pvp and co op and just try to find your style
Just explore and yes you can start in the tutorial and story mode
watch tutorials online about sidestep, charge step, cover changes. use equips and get them to high ranks. remember, platinum is the highest tier, followed by gold, silver and bronze. the final tip is to just be lucky and pull the new units
