I know this is late but the book the twisted ones is in a trilogy I'd recommend reading the silver eyes before that one (if you have not already) and read the fourth closest after the twisted ones
is it just me or are the first few moments they jump into the pit dont the beeping sounds sound similar to morse code even though i seems to short to make anything if it could
