I spent $500 for two bundles or $40 sandwiches. Good quality, etc. but not quite the right texture but I can make it work.
I’ve recently found good quality tape ins on Amazon! Also found good hair on eBay with crappy tapes but walker replacement tape fixed that

I was about to get tape ins and then chickened out so now I’m researching clip ins. ♥️ I didn’t know you had to be so careful at night with tape ins (satin pillow case, etc) - that is not me, that’s too high maintenance so maybe clip ins is the way to go for me! Try halo or invisible wire (same thing) the are awesome I've been wearing for 5 years since thyroid disease ruined my hair.
ok. you dont need to spend 600$ on hair. i use donna bella and it cost me 250. everyones hair is different, and its all about placement. i have thick short hair as well, and because my stylist is very experienced in tape ins and has more than a months experience, it looks natural and feels great. so maybe invest in a stylist that knows what shes doing
Kate S that’s a very rude thing to say. As I said in the video, she’s been doing hair extensions for many years and has never had a head of hair like mine. She had never used more than 2 packages of hair on a client. My hair is just different and required much more.
Lol Its not rude, its called im letting you and your viewers know that you dont need a million packs to be able to put tape ins into thicker hair. Its giving people the impression that they need to spend hundreds to make it work, when they dont have to IF the stylist knows how to place them right with limited hair (tape ins). :)

Any hairdresser who knows anything about hair, would know that ANY type of hair extensions (except halo) will significantly damage one's hair & should advise their clients that damage will occur. So unless you don't mind shorter, thinner, more damaged hair you should avoid extensions.

Use 19 momme silk pillow case and just braid your hair before sleep. Don’t sleep with it wet. Wash it every 3-4 days and use dry shampoo in between
It would have been great to know how the cheaper extensions held up after wearing them a while and after washing them. I've had the most beautiful, softest extensions (halo) and after washing them they become a nightmare. Dried out, knotted, frizzy. Yes I dried naturally and used the proper shampoo and conditioner to no avail even used hair serum and they never revert to their original state. Maybe someone can enlighten me as to why. Now I wear an extension as long as possible without washing then throw it away rather than wash because it seems to ruin them.
If I have a slight balding spot in the back slash top area do the clip ins from amazon have a fairly seamless look to to the base that my thin fine hair would cover? Meaning I want them more for the top areas instead of my entire hair covering them. If that makes sense
I think as long as you placed them under your existing hair and not on top, they’d blend ok, but everyone’s hair is different!
I’ve been wearing tape extensions for over 6 years. I mainly use them for volume and I don’t have any issues with pulling or headaches. Sounds like you had too many put in. I wear platinum Seemless extensions and my stylist is actually certified to install them. Yes hair is like 600 for a full set

Why would anyone want to use tape in when you can use a halo? Just wondering. I mean, ypu can't brush your hair with those in, it's horrible.

I brought Donna Bella hair extensions a few days ago... I have 10 inch hair without extensions and brought 12 inch ones. I don’t know what I was thinking. My hair looked exactly the same after I put them in.

Also to the rude comment it’s, some hair types do require more hair. I’ve been working in high ends salons all my life and have worked in several big name clients and I also need 6 packs of hair if not more. Thick yet fine textured hair does require that especially with a blunt haircut. I’m sure her hairdresser knows what’s she’s doing

Yes it does. Any stimulation to the scalp will make hair grow faster. Especially when something tugging on the hair is moving around stimulating it.

When comparing the hair, you say ones all clumped all and one is not, the one tht isnt...is a weft. The one ur holding in a bunch, are tapes and will be spread out once correctly placed into your hair, and glued down. So not good comparison in that reespect
$650 is cheap, and closer to typical tape in price!

Average prices are around $800+, PLUS installation price.
If you're paying less than, then good for you.
