Steven Mead: "Concerto for Euphonium" by Horovitz - Live Performance

This is a rare treat - Steven Mead performing with the U.S. Army Band, Joseph Horovitz conducting: the Horovitz Concerto for Euphonium. (He was playing on an early model Sterling, by the way).

David, thank you for the vast library of uploads you’ve graciously shared with the internet. I’m currently studying the Horowitz Concerto, and it’s so useful to have historical recordings like this one, the Mountain one, and your performance to reference. So many of these recordings you uploaded would simply be lost to future generations without your UA-cam channel. For example, I could only find one other recording of the Horowitz from before the year 2000, outside of your channel. Please keep uploading! Your channel is of use and a joy to many.
