I used to eat cereal every day. Breakfast was the most important meal of the day. Thanks to Mikhaila Peterson, Dr. Berry and Dr. Ben Bikman I no longer eat cereal. Currently fasting daily from dinner til lunch. I've lost 11 pounds in less than a month. Feel better, too!

Wow congrats but I wonder so are the traditional oat flakes u boil up any good4u???
Agreed, I would also add Jason Fung.
The fact that he is blocked tells you everything you need to know about the company and its products. Everything.
General Mills doesn't want the truth coming out about the poison they are putting into their cereals. That's why they blocked Dr. Berry. Nothing funny about it IMO.
@Peaceful Monkey Put breakfast cereal in a plastic bag and hammer it to powder. Then get a magnet and use it under the bag on the powder. What is that?
True!
@@jeanburk9539 you tell me.
@@MarkSmith-js2pu See above.
I think cereal companies get kids hooked on it early, then in adulthood it becomes a psychological comfort food. Despite it being nutritionally bankrupt.
You're so right. I could go for a bowl of wheat chex if I weren't educated about all cereals
True, as adults it's kind of baffling how a vampire could sell cereal or a sea captain whose eyebrows are on his hat or any of their other marketing gimmicks.
Big dairy also counts on cereal helping them get sales. Milk is an ok drink but cereal increases sales.
@@TehKaiser Milk is not an ok drink it's loaded with sugar and estrogen. Type Dr. Berg or Dr. Ken Berry in your address bar and start watching their videos.
I totally agree with you. No more Cheerios for me.
The good news is that I don’t eat any kind of cereals since many many years ago.
Sickness make money, diabetes, cancer, etc… i’m on a weight loss journey I was 500lbs I’m down to 300lbs. I struggle with food addiction before I decided to do research I was killing my body with slowly. Cereal was on of my favorite, I noticed when I was younger when are we eating it I would throw up, The more research I do now. I realized the toxic ingredients in so much of our things we use on a regular basics
Like dishwashing, soap, shampoo, baby diapers, feminine pads, Deodorant etc . I learned that the Front of the package entertainment the back of the package with the ingredients is for education. I still struggle with some of these bad food. The company and the government all about money
HUH?!?
Congratulations on the weight loss and HEALTH GAIN! I know losing weight and keeping it off is not easy, but with keto or carnivore it is SO MUCH easier!!!
Every time I carry 20-40 pounds of something, I wonder how the heck I managed to move my body around with that extra body weight! My goal now is to be healthy and able to move without inflammation. I wish you the best of health. Keep going!!! ;)
Shamarr,
How do you stop yourself from eating sugar? I’m having a difficult time with my sugar addiction.
@@AmyInArizona I've lost 30# so far since June 2020. What helped me at first was BACON. Good fats. My last holdout is 90% dark chocolate.
@@AmyInArizona lots of things that you can substitute with. My best find is sugar free jello. Like 1 net carb per cup and only 5 calories! Check out the no sugar company. They got amazing ice-cream and ok bars and chocolate.
Most important thing to note is there usually a keto alternative for anything you use to eat. Atkins has a bunch of good stuff just make sure to do the net carb calculation and, don't trust the front of the box.
Dr Ken was blocked before ever posting?! It is a little unsettling that they already know who you are. And probably a bit telling.
They may block all health professionals. That in itself would be a great twitter channel. One where health professionals would come to list all companies that block them or provide false claims. Updated daily.
I'm sure certain companies would percolate to the top.
On the positive side, this shows us what’s happening in the world of food processing. The lines are very clear now!
Evil corporate America, pulling the strings of us all as puppeteers. Time to cut the strings!

The history of how Sylvester Graham, John and William Kellogg, and Charles Post, created and marketed once unheard of breakfast cereals to the American public has resulted in one of the most unhealthy additions to the Standard American Diet.
Actually Kellogg intended for the vegetarian diet to curb fertility and desire. It was part of his 7th DA beliefs. It was also very well known to anyone around animals in 1890 the combo of milk sugar or whey and waste starches puts weight on animals VERY QUICKLY. All 4H catalogues used to recommend feeding hogs corn, oats and whey or old milk for months prior to market.
@@ms.nunnayabizness9020 Yes, John wanted to keep the food clean and healthy, but Will was the one who insisted on adding the sugar for the first time because he knew not only would it make the food taste better for humans, but that sugar had addictive properties.
I've noticed lately that the prices of protein rich foods are going up more and more, but crappy cereals are on sale week after week for cheap. Hmmm
I've noticed that too.
Like pork. I've noticed they're raising the price of pork products too
Grains are cheap to crank out. Spray with herbicides and insecticides, then harvest.
In smaller and smaller boxes though. Shrinkflation.
@@maranscandy9350 I would also like to think that its only market driven corruption but given what I know about Pottinger's cats and levels of fundamental lies about health that permeate government, I'm open to something more nefarious going on. At the very least, concealment of a first world famine, where there just isn't enough meat for reasonable health. At worst, they want us dumb and are succeeding.
I don't use Twitter, Facebook etc, but I would consider it to be a BADGE OF HONOR to be blocked by them. It shows that they are just a typical sugar (drug?) pusher and do not want to be confronted with an educated consumer.
Well said 👍
It should be illegal. They are responsible for poisoning people. If you put poison in your neighbour's food?? You'd be arrested and charged!!

Same same. Don't use em. except for UA-cam, I fly under the radar
That is the sad truth. Big business does not care who they damage or kill.
"Oat" cereals are a large percentage of Food Pantry "Donations," for people in need. Access to appropriate human food should be a right. To pile insult to injury, we are still told "oat" cereals are good for our health. Share the truth with everyone.
Thanks, Doc. Another truth gem for us to share!
Yes it is along with potatoes, bread, rice, pasta and beans.
The sole reason I stopped using those banks. It was just something to fill my belly. Today my belly is fine, flatter, and I have learned to use Sardines in many many ways. Just cause I am poor does not mean I cannot be healthy!!!!!
To be fair that's probably an outdated mindset : in the past, 'people in need' were basically starving. Carbs are a cheap and plentiful source of calories, and oats are not the worst as they also have minerals and vitamins in them (assuming not overly processed) . And if a bowl of oats is your sole meal for the day, it's not going to make you fat.
But today 'people in need' aren't actually starving, they can get plenty of calories, but it's all processed junk because that's the cheapest.
@@kdemetter Calories are a poor way to judge if food is nutritionally adequate. Many high caloric food will destroy your health.
You may think of the terms I use as outdated, but I know protein deficiency, rickets, diabetes, and many other food related health issues caused by poverty. If the best a fellow low income person can do is a bowl of oats a day, we need to demand improvements to that dumb food pyramid. Suffering illnesses due to poverty caused food access is unacceptable. Anyone who has discovered methods to healthier food choices, share your knowledge. Watch the price of unhealthy foods drop to an all time low if we stop eating them.
Keep learning what makes you healthy. Utilize this knowledge for change!
@@d.e.christe2334 You misunderstood me. It's not your terms that are outdated. It's an outdated mindset to feed poor people carbs
Even as a child I didn’t like Cheerios. I didn’t feed them to my daughter either. I’m working to get my daughter to stop giving them (& other high carb/sugar convenience “foods”) to my gbabies.
"Foods" for sure. To think of Cheerios as a food is absolute nonsense and a travesty to actual food.
Right? Better to give littles a spoon of butter or a hot dog to munch on, that a bowl of toxic sugar!
Yum, yes. This Granmy has taken a different route. I feed the granddaughter I adore soft cooked carrots, and they already invented healthy teething biscuits! Mr. Porkchop can do everything, but it's labeled pirk "rind". Good enough. They also have beef rawhide (and the healthy, good stuff is expensive, because its labelled for human food- and I might be the only one that buys it from the butcher)
@@dianavp9054 I agree! It’s sad, but if you said that to your average person, that they ought to give a pat of butter to their little one to snack on, they’d look at you like you had two heads!
Love, love, love this video. Unfortunately I fed my children Cheerios and ate it myself, because I thought it was healthy. I know better now.

Cheerio's blocked Dr. Berry?! Lol. I literally laughed out loud.
Just recently I came across a video on UA-cam, where a person ate rice for 7 days and lost 6 lbs. So I decided to experiment; I ate rice for one day. I had severe acid reflux, mucus at the back of my throat for 3 days. As it turns out, rice increases histamine in the body. Carbs are very bad if you have acid reflux or any gastrointestinal problems.
While officially gluten free all grains have their own type of gluten. I can handle a tiny amount of rice gluten once in a while, but I have a celiac friend who reacts more to rice gluten than any other type.
I tried that too...starch solution...i realized rice made me throw up everytime...must be the cyanide...the sugar ambush...idk
Yep, and most of the websites giving advice on relieving hay fever symptoms recommend whole grains and vegetables. I got so much worse trying this, it dawned on me that either I'd been scammed or gene theory was wrong or both. So grateful to have finally found the keto/carnivore community; I can breathe again, even in peak ragweed season!
Some people can handle histamine (break it down) better than others. But most of those people with problems have mineral imbalances, as Morley Robbins has discovered. He developed a protocol to balance minerals, some of them are: copper, iron, magnesium.
If you're going to experiment with a one food diet, eggs is the way to go. Much more nutrionnally complete than rice, much less likely to have allergic reaction, and it won't wreak havoc with your glucose/insulin levels.
Use to love Cheerios and anything else with oats as a main ingredient. Thank you for teaching me the PHD!
i see whatcha did there... phd = proper human diet!!
I've been doing keto for a year-and-a-half now. My health has improved in so many ways. You have been a big part of that for me and I thank you so much!
After my Adkins success in the 90’s I haven’t touched a bowl of cereal. I am so glad we have studies and low carb advocates today to explain why low carb works.
And yet you get a high profile diabetes specialist, Dr. Ergin, on UA-cam saying the opposite after all this outstanding life changing research! Sadly, a lot of research today is just another word for marketing.
I LOVE YOUR COURAGE. You are the best on UA-cam. I subbed years ago and look forward to every vid you make.
Thank you, respect from Canada 🇨🇦.
When I was 15, I remember stopping eating cheeriors and other breakfast cereals. I thought I had become lactose intolerant. I remember going around the corner at the bus stop in the mornings so that I could 'fart my brains out', get it all out of me before starting school. It was not a pleasant experience. In recent years I've tried organic cereals, a wheat free diet, rinsing my rice before cooking like the Japanese and none of it helped reduce flattulence.
Now I'm 41, been on mostly carnivore for over a year and I rarely fart. Except for the times when I've indulged in pizza and oreos or a couple of binges last year at the Golden Corral, none of which produced the anticipated pleasure.
Omg you have my compassion
You know, for a long time I thought I was lactose intolerant. Turns out I'm actually intolerant to certain types of cereal products. I can totally relate.

I live in North Dakota, all the grain crops are sprayed with glyphosate prior to harvest. Wheat, oats, barley, canola, soy, flax. If I ever eat pasta, I buy what is grown in Italy.
But do they do the same in Italy? Seems to be a global trend.
@@krisjustin3884 They don’t. Italy has the best cleanest non GMO food.
Good grief Dr. Berry. Blocked by Twitter? Unbelievable. I’ve eaten my share of Cheerios over the years. As always, thank you so much for the information. BTW, began Keto back in April. I have lost 24 lbs. I am 74 and have never felt better. Seeing my primary care doctor on Monday. Can’t wait until he sees me. My cholesterol jumped to 216 but no worries because I’ve watched your videos regarding cholesterol. I am so happy to have found you through a friend.

Just More Truth You Share Doctor Berry Thank You 😊👍🏻👊🏻
Very good Dr. Berry and a very complete video on the Cheerio’s that is unhealthful topic.
Ran into a friend the other day who had just put 2 large boxes of cheerios in his cart. I said don't you know those things contain glyphosate, and he said what do you mean? I said roundup toxins and he said I have eaten them for breakfast most of my life and I really enjoy them. He put them back with a sad look on his face like I had destroyed his dreams. I felt kinda bad about telling him that especially after he had lived to be 74 years old and was still kicking.
The fact that they blocked you is your answer...
Great video! Keep speaking the truth!
Doc B, you were never dumb. You are one of the smartest MDs, and researchers in the world
Then they put on the box, "Lowers Cholesterol!" and "Heart Healthy!". It's insane that all they have to do is pay money to the American Heart Association to be able to put that on the box and outright lie!
Not to mention cholesterol is a very well-regulated compound in the body...and a critical nutrient. The matter is to stop the reaction that leads to heart disease while still allowing the body to use it. So, that means less inflammatory foods like vegetable oils, sugars, etc.
I agree so much with you its so sad seriously

Thank you so much for all you do! I remember thinking this with my children when they were little. It's to the point now that I literally dreamt last night that someone was trying to tell my why specific cereals are "healthy" and then I immediately started explaining why they weren't and that they are nothing but sugar and horrible for us.
I'm so happy that you made this video. I use to get tricked into thinking this was nutritious. Now I know the facts.
I worked in the US Senate on WIC Re authorization. The Frosted Flakes maker was pushing hard to get their product approved for WIC coverage. I fought hard against it. These cereal makers want poor kids addicted to sugar as soon as they can eat solid food.

What is everyone giving out for Halloween? Hard boiled eggs? Cooked bacon that is wrapped? I am in an apartment building that disallows soliciting so I don't have trick or treaters at my place. I am just wondering how this holiday is re-invented for the Proper Human Diet.
